As Jackson South / Hoback Junction KOA

All Kamping Kabins overlook the Snake River at this mountain campground shaded by giant cottonwoods and spruces. Several tent sites border the river and Horse Creek.

Looking for something even more unusual? Spend the night in a tepee!

Whitewater rafting trips on the Snake set out from this KOA five times daily. (Groups of eight or more can even sign up for a dinner raft trip.) If horseback riding is more your style, rides leave from right across the road. Afterward, take a leisurely drive to the Granite Hot Springs southeast of the campground (off Highway 191) to soak in the steamy natural pools at the trail’s end. The shops, galleries and restaurants of Jackson are 13 miles north. Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks are close enough to explore with time left to relax at your campsite.
