Historic Mansion House Inn
Buffalo, Wyoming
Historic Mansion House Inn is a bed & breakfast located in Buffalo.
The Historic Mansion House Inn was built in 1903 by retired Army surgeon, Dr. Howard Lott. The estimated cost of that home to build was $50,000. It has hand carved oak mantles, original leaded glass windows and boasts one of the most beautiful oak stair cases in Wyoming. Following Dr. Lotts death in 1913, Mrs. Lott opened her home and ran a boarding house for a number of years housing railroad families, providing school rooms when a local fire destroyed the school house, and preparing many delicious meals for locals and people passing through.
In the mid 1940's, after Mrs. Lott's death, the home was locally purchased and opened as an inn. The present owners, Pam and John, purchased the Mansion House in 2004. The Inn has been restored to the early days as a turn-of-the-century home.
The Mansion House Inn has Western Victorian rooms, each decorated differently, all with private baths, color cable TV, and air conditioning. We also provide 11 additional and comfortable motel rooms. Continental breakfast is served every morning, which includes homemade pastries, juice, and coffee.
We are open year-round and reservations may be made at anytime.
We are AAA rated and can be found in the Wyoming/Montana AAA Tour Guide.
Nearby restaurants include Papa Binos, China Garden, Maverik, and Sagewood Gifts & Cafe.
