The world-famous Chautauqua Institution is only minutes away from Camp Chautauqua. There you have the opportunity to listen to operas, concerts and catch a performance by a leading entertainer.
This cultural center features renowned speakers with challenging messages and entertaining dialogues. There's a full nine weeks of special programs for your edification and pleasure.
While traveling around Chautauqua County you will find fresh vegetables and fruits at roadside stands when in summer, some places you can even pick your own.
If you're too tired to cook while at Camp Chautauqua, you can stop in at our kitchen. Friendly staff and excellent food will surely satisfy any appetite. Here, one can always get a cup of coffee or a snack. Breakfast and lunch are served during the summer season on weekends and holidays. Our campground has 1800 feet of lakefront for everyone to enjoy. All of our campsites are within easy walking distance from the lake, with none being more than a 5 minute walk from the shoreline.
