Merry Knoll is set near the Village of Clayton, just a short seven miles to the 1000 Islands International Bridge. We're centrally located - only 12 miles from Alexandria Bay and 10 miles from Cape Vincent. Clayton is a quaint village in the 1000 Islands Region with many interesting shops and wonderful restaurants. No matter what your interest, Clayton and the surrounding communities offer a full schedule of activities throughout the season.

While at the park, we offer a campstore for those last minute items and various amenities to keep the young and young at heart occupied and entertained.

There is a swimming pool, playground and a game room. The fishing enthusiasts will find the fishing pier a perfect place to drop a line, or for those more "active", we rent 14' aluminum boats and motors for fishing. For those who would like to run the river in bigger boats, we have a special program for boat rentals thru Clayton Marina.

Nearby restaurants include Fairview Manor, Bottomless Pit BBQ, The Boat Yard At French Bay, and Wood Boat Brewery.

Our campground was designed and built with the comfort and convenience of our guests in mind. We can accommodate most any size or style RV - contact us to discuss your camping needs.

If you are traveling without your RV in the 1000 Islands Region around Clayton, or just want to take a break from the road, we also have tent sites and camping cabins.

Our camping cabins are a great alternative to tenting. They have a double bed and bunk beds. Our cabins have electric outlets inside and a campfire ring, picnic table and running water outside. These cabins are located in a nicely shaded area of our campground, close to the bathhouse.

Merry Knoll Campground is a great place to stay in Clayton when you are in the 1000 Islands area!
