Named for its original watercolors, Acquerello envelops guests in a warm and gracious atmosphere the moment they arrive. Bella Trattoria Italiana ( Dining / Italian ). Located at 3854 Geary Boulevard, San Francisco, 2 miles from the center of Point Richmond. In the Inner Richmond district, known more for its Asian cuisine than italian, Bella has claimed its home. Outside is a soft yellow facade and french doors that open to cafe tables overlooking Geary Boulevard. Inside the trattoria, a mural of venice lines the dining room wall as tables lit by frosted halogen lights set the stage for a romantic dinner along the city of romanceâs tranquil canals. The handsome italian staff serves bella'ss signature pastas, made in - house daily - such as the spinach gnocchi with shiitake mushrooms, radicchio, and a Gorgonzola cream sauce or the portobella mushroom balsamico - all of which highlight produce that, like much of Bellaâs meat, fish, and vegetables, is organic and locally grown. The bar in the corner offers a wide selection of italian wines. Just to be sure to leave room for another house specialty - the tiramisu.
