Simple, clean non-smoking room. The restaurant next door (affiliated) was closed (during the time we were there), but there were a few restaurants nearby on the same road. The pool was cloudy and not clean, but the manager told us this was so and added that he would close the pool early that night to clean it. We will be happy to come back if we know in advance that both the restaurant and pool will be available.
Positives: Clean room, simple but met needs.
Negatives: Pool water was cloudy and needed to be cleaned. Staff told us of this beforehand.

For an overnight stay it was fine. Nothing special just a place to crash. Very dated decor and the fridge didn't work. Good thing I didn't have to use it.
Positives: It was conveniently located and had complementary fresh apples in the lobby.
Negatives: It was dated.

The bathrooms were something from the 1970's (probably the last time they were cleaned.) When I checked out I signed a statement with the total then found a different total charged to my cc and 3 days later they still do not have an answer back to me why the disconnect. The lobby was clean, the indoor pool was nice. Would not recommend, there are many other choices in Saranac Lake/Lake Placid area.
