Silver Strand B&B is a bed & breakfast located in Ovid.

The setting here is very peaceful with the quiet road meandering along the edge of the lake for miles. One hundred twenty-six varieties of birds have been recorded in the area and Canada Geese spend their winter along these shores.

The Finger Lakes area boasts the second largest wine production region in the country. With over fifty wineries, it is a taster's paradise. Three award-winning wineries are located within three miles of the inn. Silver Strand was featured in a September 1995 "Wine Spectator" magazine article which was very complimentary to the region and its wines.
