This hotel was old, antiquated and a bad experience. It smells (not a funk, but an old mildew-like smell), but that should be expected with a building as dated as the Ramada. I wasn't expecting luxury for the price, but we were so uncomfortable we only slept for 4 hours (after driving 13 hours) and got up and left. We slept on top of the covers with out clothes on also! By the way, if you happen to be close to or over 225 lbs, you won't fit in the bathroom. I'm quite small and could hardly spin around without touching anything. The bathroom is extremely cramped!

Positives: Absolutely nothing.

Negatives: It's old, antiquated, stinks and need to be torn down and rebuilt.

Never use the Ramada Inn, in New Hartford, New York for any event, or I dare say even an overnight stay!

Hotel was 5 minutes from shopping and local restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ideal for stopover clients. Bed better than expected and so was the shower (good pressure and no shower curtain attack) Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Using GPS from the thruway took us on a long route. When we discovered where we were the next AM it was a quick trip back on the road. I would stay there again.

Positives: Quiet, convenient to food and shopping, clean, comfortable bed, lots of pillows, and good shower.

Negatives: Tired facility, needs carpets and paint, dining room needs a makeover.

The restaurant staff was more interested in watching what was on the television then in serving their customers. The meal was very tasty, but the serving staff especially the bartender needs to be let go.

Room was spacious, clean. Hotel staff was great. It had a restaurant which was a great plus and prices were decent. Breakfast Buffet was 9.95 which included the usual breakfast items. Also, had a great Prime Rib sandwich and fries for 12.95 and the Rib was around 10oz. Wait staff was great and a very good conversation with waitress.

Positives: Great staff. Great price. Food was good. Location was perfect for me.

The hotel was easy to find, lots of free parking which was good, the hotel rooms were ok and a little on the old side but the bed mattresses were old, lumpy and creaky and the sheets were rough. The bathroom rooms were very dated. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud and kept us awake.

We were very disappointed. First hard to find. Second pool empty of water-opened May 24 to Labor Day weekend and even if had been opened, their hour were for their convenience, not the client's (hrs were 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.), I like a pool to be available when I'm at the hotel in the morning and at night-we're sometimes out and about the rest of the day. Would not recommend as rooms very small and musty smell in washroom with noisy fan.

Negatives: Staff not friendly, maid knocked on door/front desk called to say just checking their questionable, business not service oriented.

It was ok. Nothing great but it was functional. The internet didn't work or work well. They said they were having trouble over the last few weeks. Get it taken care of already. There are plenty of providers available. Business people need access. Disappointed on that issue. Rest was ok I guess. Would I stay again here, perhaps.

It was ok however a hotel with no elevator made it hard to go in and out.

Hotel was a throwback from the 1970's bathroom was very small, roof leaked, towels were dirty, etc. Terrible.

I have stayed at this hotel before and never had a problem until Feb 29, 2008. Two men came in late that night about 12 - 12:30 in the morning in the room next door to mine. Very loud, using vulgar music and TV was on loud. This continued until about 2:00 am when they finally went to sleep. I complained twice to the front desk, who in turn said that they would call them and take care of it. After all said and done this continued again in morning about 8:00 am with the same loudness from the TV and vulgar language. I went down to the front desk and spoke to the manager who was very sorry for their actions and only could offer me a complimentary breakfast and could not refund my money because I didnt book it with them. I only had a few hours of sleep and had to drive 3 1/2 hours home that day. Those men next door should have been thrown out of the hotel. I was afraid for myself and family, because of the vulgar language they were using that they could be violent if I confronted them. Was not happy about that night.

Negatives: Better reaction to an incident that occurred in next room to ours.

This hotel was off the beaten path, but it was easy to get to the highway. The hotel is older and the rooms are small, but it was clean. The bathroom was outdated and very small. It was all we needed for a place to sleep. The staff was very friendly and helped with all our questions.

The original builder made some major cuts. No basement, ground floor was exactly that, low ceilings, tile floor for hallway. Hallway was min. Width. Regardless of the structure, the staff couldn't be more friendly, and helpful.

Positives: The desk staff was very helpful.

Negatives: I was expecting the continental breakfast; juice, coffee, fruit and/or Danish. The location of the hotel did not have food service other than their re.
