OK - rooms clean, decent location, small lobby area which became very crowded.
Positives: It was clean, had a good view of Manhattan.
Negatives: I asked for cab service to Manhattan, but a driver was arranged that cost more $ than a cab.

Good quality hotel at budget price. Excellent breakfast included in price. Hotel is a bit out of the way, so we didn't return to the hotel during our day visits to Manhattan.

Relatively close to Manhattan (20 min ride to time square). Shuttle bus needs to be later and/go to different subway stops. During peak times - mornings - have shuttle service run every 15 min. Would be willing to pay $1per person per trip if shuttle went to other stops or pick up after 11pm

Shuttle was reliable except for the first pick up. We waited 15 minutes for the shuttle which was described as being a few minutes away. Everything else was satisfactory.

Good accommodations, but isolated. The shuttle was excellent, but in some cases, did not leave on time for my connections with the LIRR.

The view of Manhattan from the room was amazing, the choice for breakfast was wonderful, the shuttle to the subway helped a lot, the staff were very friendly, enjoyed our stay very much.

The appearance was great, lobby and rooms clean. Limited parking. The staff ignored the fire alarm and anyone asking questions about it, by the time i threw on clothes and walked down 11 stories, the fire dept had arrived.
Positives: Lowest price nearest to Manhattan.
Negatives: Limited parking. Fire alarm sounded 8am but staff ignored it and any questions about it. Firemen were prompt.

I stayed at this hotel for the last night of my Manhattan trip since my flight at 6:45 am. The hotel shuttle did not work effectively for me since I did not bring my cell phone and the phone at the subway station was not working. Pay phones in New York do not always work due to vandalism. I stayed in disabled room and it looked like the tiles in the shower were broken and although the shower was fixed, it looked like it was getting moldy. I would suggest those tub surrounds and not grout anymore since mold is a definite disappointment.
Positives: I liked the price and the lobby and the size of the room.
Negatives: Internet was not working and hotel staff did not offer options. Location was not that great.

This hotel is located in an industrial area and has little to offer outside its doors. The shuttle to the train was helpful, but the driver ran a red light a couple of times. We had to take a cab back to the hotel after waiting 45 minutes for the van to show up, (they say it picks up every 30 minutes). The location of the train station is sketchy at best. I wouldn't want to wait that long for the van after dark.
Other than the van, this hotel is perfect. It was a short 15 minute train ride to Times Sq. Perfect for what we wanted. I would definitely stay there again.

Negatives: The shuttle van to the train station was not reliable. On two of the trips the driver ran a red light!

It is a very good option. It is not close to the subway station, but the hotel has a shuttle service from 6 to 11, and also if you arrive later the cap will charge you about $6. The free breakfast is good the rooms are small but comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and very clean.

The hotel is immaculate, well-kept and extremely clean in all respects. My room was a good size for one person and the king-bed was very comfortable. The hotel decor is modern and nicely appointed. The breakfast service was quite expansive, more than I expected and you can eat on the patio, not much of a view, but it was nice to eat outside and get fresh air.
Positives: Very clean, staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly.
Negatives: Did not realize the area is remote, but hotel offers free shuttle service which I found out after I checked in the hotel.

Excellent comfort and value. Though the location is slightly far the subway (to Manhattan) the shuttle service was good. Wish it could run until midnight instead of 11:00 pm to facilitate Broadway show schedule. It was a 15 minutes walk in quiet neighborhood. Special mention of the Mr. who help stock the breakfast items. He was courteous, hard working and efficient. Makes our breakfast experience a great plus. Highly recommend hotel for the value if you don't mind taking the shuttle and then subway to enjoy Manhattan.

Very helpful staff went above and beyond the call of duty. The rooms are small. The bathroom is of adequate size. Our room, the lobby and the dining room was always very clean for all 5 days of our stay.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly, the desk clerks helpful and there was a good variety of food at the breakfast in the morning. My only complaint (and it is a small one) was the parking. The hotel website says parking is free, but limited. They should make it clear how limited. They have an underground garage with 12 spaces. This hotel is twelve stories tall and has parking allotments of one car for each floor. There is no above ground parking lot. You must find an available spot as near the hotel as you can, which is not easy in New York. Other than parking, I had a great experience.

Highly recommend this hotel. I will always stay here when I visit Manhattan again. Their shuttle van will take you where you need to go,they literally pamper you from the minute you arrive. Exercise room, spacious guest rooms tastefully designed, overlooking Silver cup East (in case you're into celebrity spotting) and further beyond, Manhattan.
Positives: Excellent staff, beautiful room, secure underground parking, delicious breakfast, slept like a baby!

The shuttle to the subway and free breakfast made our trip way easier than it would have been. The location is close enough to Manhattan (20 min by subway) and the service is lovely.
Positives: There was a shuttle to the subway station, which made the trip to Manhattan very convenient.

We arrived late, around 10 at night, and we have young children. Right off the bat, about six minutes after arriving in our room, we got a call from the front desk. The man sighed, and said, "We already have a noise complaint for you. You have to quiet it down immediately." I thought it was needlessly rude since he had seen us take three young kids, including one baby (it was the baby crying, the noise), so I don't see the need to call us to chastise us for having a crying baby. Seemed kind of rude. However, from that point on, it was great, we didn't see that man at the front desk any more during our stay, and the rest of the staff was super courteous. We had a big snowstorm the second day we were there, and the staff worked as hard as they could to get the shuttle going as soon as the roads were scraped so we could get to the train and into the city. For the price, it's extremely convenient, maybe ten minutes or less into Grand Central.

I would have expected some iota of friendliness. And the maid repeatedly tried coming in the room in the early morning in-spite of the Do not Disturb sign. The front desk offered no help with directions they just shrugged when asked where local business are.
