Garnet Lake Lodge is a cottage located in Johnsburg.

Garnet Lake is a pristine lake in the Adirondack forever wild forest preserve. The State of New York owns 75% of the property on the lake which leaves it in its natural form. The remaining private property is restricted on size of buildings and building lots.

This makes this 220 acre lake a place where our guests can get a good feeling of what the land was like hundreds of years ago. The southern end of the lake is shallow, only 2 to 5 feet, which limits any use of power boats in that half of the lake thus leaving people in kayaks and row boats to a undisturbed quietness.
