3 stars
Positives: The room is decent and clean.
Negatives: When I requested for the toilet paper and facial napkin, the one who answered the phone said you don't have it in your room duh? that's why I'm asking.

This hotel is good for business travelers that aren't planning to stay pass a day. Its a not a place where you'd feel cozy enough. Its definitely not a home a way from home type of atmosphere. The walls are also thin and you can hear neighbors talking.
Positives: I liked the hotel's location. It was 15 minutes away from the beach, and also not too far from stores like Wal-Mart, Dunkin donuts, and some others.
Negatives: The lobby looked pretty old fashioned, old looking, grungy.

Adequate for several day stay.
Positives: The hotel exceeded my expectations, considering the star rating.
Negatives: Common side entry had a somewhat unpleasant odor.

Terrific choice for budget-conscious travelers. Close to local stores and restaurants. Clean accommodations, easy check-in and check-out. Our second trip here; we will keep coming back.
Positives: Accessible, affordable, clean and courteous.
Negatives: There was nothing we didn't like.

Renovation, renovations, renovations. I was charged twice for this room. Upon my arrival the gentleman at the desk was helpful. However, I sent an email requesting a refund but have yet to receive it.
Positives: Its location and the gentleman at the front desk.
Negatives: It is due for renovations room and carpet smell.

Its an old hotel needs to be modernized hotel desk clerks very unfriendly and then the bug in the tub wasn't so great. Was close to where I needed to be but will not stay there again. I have stayed there 2 times but that is it gave them 2 chances.
Positives: Continental breakfast.
Negatives: Found a rather large bug in bathtub staff very unfriendly.

This hotel met the basic needs for a vacation. It was not in the least fancy, but the room was clean. The sheets were ill fitting on the bed. The front desk clerk was a typical New Yorker. Not friendly, but he was accommodating. We were able to leave for two nights and return for an additional two nights at close to the same rate.
Positives: The price was reasonable and the location was convenient.
Negatives: The corridors smelled of cigarette smoke.

The room was huge, very comfortable. The bathroom was cramped. But everything was very clean.
Positives: Was not permeated with a damp, musty smell as others have been.
Negatives: No laundry bags.

For the price, it's a good deal. Clean, easy access to highways, beach, restaurants.
Positives: Close to highway, beach, and major restaurants.
Negatives: Smoke filled halls on one night.

It's a great hotels for singles, business travelers, and families on a budget. It's has great access via local roads and Long Island's parkway system and the Hicksville train station is a short drive away. There is no dining facility, but there are ample eateries near by and the hotel provides info for take-out. The beds, bathrooms, and provided towels were clean, but the rooms had a heavy cigarette smell. Free internet and a decent selection of cable channels are offered, so even on rainy days, you can keep occupied. Otherwise, given the price, it's a good no-frills hotel in a good area.
Positives: Free internet access
Negatives: Breakfast ends too early, key cards malfunctioned, smoking rooms smelled strongly.

Good place to stay, especially solo. Ideal for business trip or a visit that will keep you out of the hotel most of the time. All the necessities are here with no amenities save for the free wireless internet connection, which was good to have.
Positives: Friendly desk staff, very quiet, good location.
Negatives: Very few amenities.

Good for my purpose. Only need a place to sleep for two nights at a reasonable rate and this fit.
Positives: Room was clean.
Negatives: Bathroom kind of small. Lobby not much.

It was adequate and a good value for New York where prices are ridiculous for a single parent. This hotel was clean and friendly and met our needs, while being easy to drive to and from Hofstra University and Yankee stadium which we were visiting. And getting to La Guardia to send my daughter back to Tennessee couldn't have been easier from this location. I picked it because of the price and distance to Hofstra-- but I had no idea at the time how truly well it would fit my needs for our entire visit.
Positives: Staff was knowledgeable with directions, helpful, friendly. Room was quiet.
Negatives: Bathroom was very small.

The hotel was a great deal with easy access to highways. the staff was friendly and gracious. Continental breakfast was good. Good coffee.
Positives: We like the location. It was close to Jones Beach and shopping.
Negatives: Everything was great. The only thing missing was a clock in the room.

This wasn't the best experience. It was hot outside so when we got to our room we wanted to use the air conditioner to cool off. This was a wall unit that really smelled when we turned it on. We elected not to use the unit because of the odor/risk of health. We were on the first floor so leaving the window opened wasn't a good option due to traffic noise. We were less than comfortable all night. There was no room clock so we were unable to set an alarm for wakeup. There was no blow dryer -- I didn't think to bring one since built-in blow dryers are standard in hotel rooms. This was not what I expected.
Positives: Location with easy access to major highway.
Negatives: Air conditioner smelled, there wasn't a blow dryer in bath, (which tends to be standard in most places).

Convenient to highways, restaurants and the biggest shopping malls on Long Island. Large, clean rooms with refrigerators. Continental breakfast in lobby.
Positives: Price, size of room, refrigerator, location.
Negatives: Too far east on Long Island (were looking closer to New York City).
