Everything is in disrepair. A complete mess. Howe does this place take money from people? A disaster waiting to happen and I have to believe local authorities are going to let it happen.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Stay away.

Breakfast, when served was cold. Dinner was a disgrace and it all ran out for the amount of people that stayed. There was no lunch, anything in between those meals had to be bought, which of course was overpriced. The entertainment was good only because they were not employed by this run-down place, the staff was not helpful, the maid service, well she sat in the hallway on the phone, never cleaned the room the whole weekend. Mgt of the place must have advised to take all the irons and ironing boards out the room cause there werent any and we had to go all the way to the main front desk to get one, and as we all checked out, the "bellman" had the cart returning all of them to the rooms. The Main hallways were dingy, the water mold from where the leaks were in the ceiling were everywhere and there was no heat, no hot water in the morning till about nighttime where it was just warm. The food was awful, the key card or the slots on the door were so old, and they didnt work. They skiing on premises, but the lift didnt work, the snow tubes were patched, and the only nice place was the ice skating house. The entire resort is outdated, the carpets were moldy, there was a leak in the elevator, hello electricity? There were bugs in every corner of every window. I didnt even turn down my bed in fear of bed bugs. This place is a disgrace! If anyone chooses to give this place more than one star. I will personally be reporting this place to the Dept of Heath! And its a shame 'cause their location, with the view of the mountains was about the only nice thing about this place!
Positives: The mountain-side view is about it!
Negatives: If you have bad allergies or just allergic to mold, stay away!

No heat or hot water! Stay away from this hotel. This hotel is nasty and very unsanitary. I came on a ski trip for the weekend 2/22 and checked out on 2/23. The rooms was nasty and I had to clean the bathroom my self with bleach. The toilet looked as if it hadn't been clean in years. I had to have someone bring up a toilet brush to scrub the toilet out. The stair cases have the numbers written on the walls in black marker to let you know what floor you are on. They claim that this hotel is newly renovated that is a complete lie. This place looks like it is still dated in the 1950's. This is a violation for the department of health. It needs to be inspected and checked out. It also seems like they are running a scam getting people to book rooms there and then not having heat or hot water when they arrive and then keeping there money.
Positives: No heat or hot water.
Negatives: It's a hot mess.

This is a horrible place. I went with a group of approximately 800 people. We expected to party non-stop. We stopped right at the top of the bottom of the driveway because the buses could not reach the front door due to Nevele Grande not plowing the driveways. After dragging our luggage the length of 2 city blocks, we ended up in a dingy lobby with torn/stained furniture. Some guests walked up the horrible-looking stairs but I rode the tiny elevator. There was no heat or hot water in the entire lodge and adjoining buildings. Our toilet stopped up and we did not have towels. We arrive at 5 p.m. on February 22 and left at 11 a.m. on February 23. If you have a trip planned individually or through a travel agent, please do not attend.
Positives: The snow was clean because we could not use it. It was too cold inside to go outside.
Negatives: Everything.

Save yourself! Stay away! They can't even make pancakes or French Toast! The pancakes were perfectly round and all the same size. I think that's how they came out of the freezer. Too bad they didn't heat them up! This must have really been a nice place in 1960.
Positives: Lots of rooms for large groups.
Negatives: Everything.

The other opinion on this site has gone to be a fabrication, unless the reviewer was deaf and blind and had to breathe through a respirator. This place is by and large a horror show. Every year we go to a conference at this dump (we wish the organization that puts it on would change the location - all we can figure is that the price must be cheap compared with other locations). We laugh at how bad the facilities are...it makes for an entertaining ride home. I think the slogan for the navel should be: "there's no place like home - and the navel is no place like home".
Positives: Breakfast was okay...when you finally get it. You do like cold eggs, right?
Negatives: Too much to list. Let's just say everything is bad.

Major renovations needed or just demolish and rebuild nice once, no longer true. Food is certainly not gourmet and service too rushed.
Positives: Staff was pleasant.
Negatives: Horrible bathrooms need renovation, food was awful, service just fair.
