Good hotel, would book again.
Positives: Convenient location between Saratoga and NYC.

The beds are very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Positives: Quiet, friendly helpful staff and they have an excellent continental breakfast.
Negatives: There was no little refrigerator in the room.

Pros: Decent breakfast, 2 computers available in the lobby.<BR>Cons: dirty bathroom floor, tub did not drain properly, threadbare towels, toiletries not replaced on the second day, in room trash not emptied, no mini refrigerator or micro wave in room, tiny gym, restroom off lobby not working properly, need I go on? Stay somewhere else and save yourself the disappointment.

The room was nice, but the food for breakfast wasn't all that we had hoped it would be.

We traveled to Albany for a field hockey coaching clinic this past weekend. The hotel was right across the street from the university. The staff was great! The check in was quick and they were very knowledgeable about the area. There is no restaurant, but upon check in they provided us with a list of the closest restaurants and directions to them. The continental breakfast was one of the best I've seen. They had the usual juice, coffee, cereal, and breads but they also had yogurt, breakfast sandwiches and even two waffle makers with strawberries and cream. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable! If I go back to Albany I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Nice people, but not a great hotel and we have stayed at several in Albany as our son is at school there. Breakfast was okay, not great. They should have kept coming in to refill the foods as a lot was not available.
Positives: Friendly staff.
Negatives: There must have been fleas or mites in the carpet. My feet and ankles were eaten alive. I complained to the manager who was looking into it. Won't.

Rooms were clean, but lacking in lotion, soaps, etc. The staff was friendly/helpful. The hotel seemed adequate, but I was most impressed by the superb location.
