Every guest room has an unobstructed mountain view. Those facing east look onto the spectacular and rugged White Mountains, anchored by Mount Washington. In winter you can see the skiers at Cannon Mountain. Rooms facing west look over the golf course onto Vermonts fabled rolling Green Mountains. Some rooms are furnished with antiques from the original Sunset Hill House. Some have gas fireplaces, or double Whirlpool tubs, or a private deck, or all of these! All are spotless (Housekeeper Nancy has been called obsessive about this), with private baths.
All rates include our magnificent full gourmet breakfast served in our main dining room. All rooms have private baths and telephones.
Our Master Suites are the epitome of luxury, with separate living rooms, two person Whirlpools, fireplace, and some have a private deck and wet bar. Of course, the bed is king sized, and you have views of both the White and Green mountains.
Relax in front of your private gas fireplace, or in your Whirlpool-for-two in one of our Grand Rooms with a queen or king sized bed. Some are "turret rooms" with window seats, all are large and beautifully appointed.
Traditional Rooms range from large and lovely to cozy rooms tucked under the mansard roof. some are furnished with antiques from the original Sunset Hill House, others adjoin, or have twin beds -- perfect for families. No matter what you choose, plan to see the mountains from your window.

Location details / directions
Starting at BOS-Logan Int Airport-120 Mi Due north on I-93 to exit 38 -Franconia-. Left at the bottom of the ramp and right at the blinking light onto Main street, Franconia. Quarter mile later, left across bridge onto route 117.2 miles to the very top of the hill. When there is no more up to go, left onto Sunset Hill Road. Say -oh my gosh, look at the views-. We are a third of a mile down on the left. Park right out front.
