Or you can set off on a hike to enjoy the waterfalls, lighthouses, and beaches. A quick ferry takes passengers to Grand Island, a national recreation area best explored by tram, bicycle, or boat tour. Marquette, the Upper Peninsula's largest city and home to Northern Michigan University is less than an hour's drive west. Pool: June 24 - September 2. Max pull-thru length: 90 feet.
