Back in the 1930s, the Firefly Resort was built as a place for city dwellers to escape and relax, to unwind and enjoy simple pleasures. Coffee on the front porch at daybreak, a blazing bonfire and friends sharing stories, a picnic on the beach, chasing fireflies - that was and still is the Firefly Resort.

Today, the Firefly Resort is eighteen charming one and two bedroom cottages in Michigan --- all restored --- featuring comfortable living rooms, kitchenettes and bathrooms complete with all the amenities. Residents and their guests are invited to enjoy outdoor grills, picnic nooks, perennial gardens and bonfires at dusk, making these cottages in Michigan replete with activity. For kids, we offer swings, a playhouse and a large yard for the children to explore inside our cottages in Michigan.
