Little Orleans Campground is located on 222 acres of beautiful woodlands in the Upper Potomac river valley in Western Maryland and provides a total camping experience. The campsites are spaciously located within the forest area for your nature enjoyment. Each site has a fire ring and a picnic table and each RV site has electric, water and sewer. The Chesapeake & Ohio Canal is located beside the Potomac river ½ mile to the south for additional hiking and biking. There is also a boat ramp located at that point on the river that is ideal for canoeing and small craft. There is a canoe rental service adjacent to the property. Immediately to the north of the campground is the 46,000-acre Green Ridge State Forest which offers numerous hiking trails and scenic spots as well as trails that are specifically designated for ATVs!

New mountain biking trails have been developed nearby as well. Fifteen-mile Creek runs through the property and is a stocked trout stream. For little ones, there is a small fishing pond located by the main facility complete with ducks.
