Hallways a bit small-but ok, elevators are very small--actually almost too small to fit the luggage cart and one human body inside, price was right--though! Parking was 25 bucks too, nice staff, very nice.
Positives: Nice room, free use of business computer.
Negatives: Location a bit odd.

It was a nice hotel, probably older than most of those where I am used to staying. The room was much larger than what I would have expected and was complete with a refrigerator, microwave, etc. There were even plates and utensils. I was only in for one night so I didn't use them but it was nice surprise. There's no parking on the street but that's true of most inner city hotels in Baltimore. And there's not much of a view. Staff was friendly and efficient.
Positives: Spacious room with full kitchen.
Negatives: Valet parking costs an additional $20.

The hotel itself was okay for my needs as I wasn't spending much time there. It's not anything special but it worked for me and the price was good. The full kitchen was great to have available. Business Ctr. had only one PC and somewhat slow connection. It was a 15 min. walk to the convention ctr. which is quite a bit further than many other Inner Harbor hotels.
Positives: Full kitchen.
Negatives: Pull out sofa bed not so big or comfortable.

Great location for convention and downtown events. Tired curtains and kitchens. Clean. Works out fine.

Negatives: Poor fitness facility.

Overall it was a good experience. My wife and I needed to stay at a hotel close to Johns Hopkins Hospital (son had surgery), on short notice. The quality of the hotel compared to the overall price we paid ($25 for parking), was decent. I was
not pleased with the twenty-five dollar parking fee. Had it not been for the added parking fee, it would have been great.
Positives: Room size.
Negatives: Price for parking.

It is a great place to stay with a family; the room was very accommodating with kitchen facilities
Positives: The rooms were big and very comfortable.
Negatives: Wished it had swimming pool.

It has a problem with the hot water.
The first room
had the toilet overflowed, the first time I flushed it and the water never got hot. I was moved to another room. The toilet worked fine. The shower water got warm for about 30 seconds then went cold. It came back for about another 30 seconds then went cold again. This really needs to be addressed. On the positive side, the free internet usage including a printer in the business center is very nice. The location isn't terrible. I'd guess it's about a mile walk to the harbor.
Positives: Free internet access and printer usage in the business center.
Negatives: No hot water. Showers were terrible.

Overall, the Tremont Plaza was a very nice hotel. It is a little on the worn side as far as the furniture and interior went, but it was still a very plesant stay. The hotel staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They went out of their way to see what they could do to help you. The Plaza is also conveniently located about six blocks from the inner harbor. It is also centrally located to many amenities that any traveler could find themselves in need of, from a Walgreens to a Superfresh.
Positives: It was conveniently located by the inner harbor and other attractions in Baltimore.
Negatives: Uncomfortable furniture.

I wasn't happy with the hotel, but I loved the staff. They helped make the stay a little bit better. All in all, the main reason that I would not recommend this hotel is because I think nobody should have to stay in Baltimore, therefore they shouldn't need a hotel at all.
Positives: Incredibly kind and helpful staff.
Negatives: Bad part of town, sort of run down, toilet ran all night, internet connection was
