Besides having too much furniture in the room, the room was very clean and decorated with fine linens. They served a very good breakfast for us in the morning.

Positives: Very elegant and comfortable.

Negatives: Room was crowded.

This is an excellent business hotel. Clean rooms and public areas. Very convenient to the airport. Courteous and efficient staff. Other than other travelers having the poor manners to appear in public areas in their bed clothes it was an A-1 experience.

Positives: Excellent beds; excellent and attentive staff; great location.

Negatives: The rooms are a little tight.

I will personally never do business with a Hampton inn again. I think I would have rather stayed at the motel 6. Recently a group of us reserved two rooms for a conference in the area. Firstly, online, they had listed they were only 5 miles away from the arena we were going to for the conference. This was actually around 12 miles away. There was no indoor pool or hot tub and the outdoor pool was covered so no one could use it. For the price of the hotel room, I would have rather stayed at the Marriott. At least at the Marriott they treat you well.

Positives: Continental breakfast, bathroom nice.

Negatives: Staff rude and unwilling to accommodate, no indoor pool or hot tub.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I really liked the electronic thermostat! Room was nice & clean, staff followed my instructions.

Positives: The people were very friendly.

Negatives: The window shade didn't keep out all the light from the parking light outside my window, too bright.

The person who checked in behind me paid less right at the counter by 10%.The rooms were clean and quiet but lobby and hallways were old and dingy.

Yes, I would return for future stays. The hotel was clean and even though I had a smoking-room and I'm a non-smoker, the room was bearable. I liked the homey feel of walking into the lobby in the evenings and enjoying warm cookies and milk with my family. I was spoiled with hospitality.

Positives: It was my 1st stay at the hotel, I was impressed with the hospitality of the staff and the breakfast accommodations were fantastic.

Negatives: The room was slightly smaller than I expected.

This hotel is conveniently located by the airport, and stores to get things in a pinch, also Grays Lake Park, beautiful Park in Des Moines less than 2 miles away. Just a beautiful area and easy to get to. I will definitely consider Hamton Inn again, even the owner stopped and said good morning, in the breakfast area. I really enjoyed my stay for 2 nights.

Negatives: The exercise room was too small and no ventilation.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, our first experience with them. It had a beautiful lobby with a very nice continental breakfast. We had everything in our room that we needed. It was nice and clean and nicely furnished.

Positives: Very clean, wireless internet was definitely nice to have, and the continental breakfast was very well done. We loved our stay.

I enjoyed staying here with my husband. The hotel lobby was pretty and a comfortable place to relax for breakfast. The rooms were attractive. However, the staff on that day seemed to be at the front desk and answering phones all alone which meant delays. Also, there was some hair in the shower and by the sink. The rest of the room was clean so this may have been a fluke oversight but it was still a bit unpleasant. Overall I would still give it high marks.

Negatives: The room could have been cleaner, there was hair in the shower and sink area.

the motel was clean and overall, above my expectations, breakfast was great and ease of check-in and check-out was very fast.

The Hampton Inn Des Moines Airport is a very clean, well maintained facility. The staff there are very professional and helpful. This hotel surpassed my expectations completely. To be honest I didn't know you could book a hotel of this quality for the price I paid.

The service was excellent. The room was not large but it was nice. It was clean and had everything we needed. There was hot food for breakfast, with 2 breakfast attendants keeping things clean and food well stocked.

This was a very nice hotel, had two nice beds, enjoyed the shower massage, too. Felt like it was a good bargain for our money.

It was great! Very clean, comfortable. When asked to deodorize a smoking room for us (not smokers) they were very prompt in doing so. Breakfast each morning was excellant. The staff very freindly. Couldn't have asked for anything better in my opinion!

Positives: Excellant service, clean room and friendly staff. Great breakfast.

Negatives: Pull out sofa was broken as well as very worn out. Thank goodness it was only needed for one night. Staff responded to notification the next A.M.

Very clean, friendly employees, room large enough to not feel cramped. The litle extras in the room. Large fluffy towels. Large choice to choose from for breakfast, even different hot items each day. Excellent.
