I just returned from my camping trip to Rising Sun and will never return there again. I've been there twice before and was never really impressed with the campground, but went back because it was convenient and cheap. The times I've been there before the grass was mostly cut and there was a guy spraying the field for mosquitos every few hours. This time, however, the grass was just under my knees, they refused to spray for mosquitos, (which were terrible because of the grass and flooding) the pool was green and full of leaves, the bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, and the owner came over to ask us to keep the kids off of their scooters and was incredibly rude about it. When we tried to talk to them about the grass he said to us, "If you don't like the it, hit the highway!!" That is exactly what we did and we will never return there! I feel that they were completely unprofessional and inconsiderate of their guests. Next time I will be going just down the road to Arrow Head Campground!
