We are approximately 5 miles south of Bloomington, IN by Fairfax State Recreational Area on Lake Monroe.

Lake Monroe Camping Resorts offer a wide variety of camping experiences for your vacation. Choose from primitive tent camping areas, R.V. camping with full hookups, and Cabins and A-Frames for those who prefer all the comforts of home in a rustic outdoor setting.

Lake Monroe Camping Resorts offer all this and more. Features include our comfort station with no-charge showers with plenty of hot water, and clean restrooms with flushing toilets. New Laundromat with plenty of double-load washers and dryers.

Our guests can enjoy all of our outdoor playground facilities, which include a wide variety of games and activities.

Our guests will have access to our huge pool and Jacuzzi tub; as well as a mile hiking trail in the woods leading to beautiful Lake Monroe.

We have 75 improved sites with City Water, Electric & Sewage hookups for you to choose from! We also offer 50 sites with City Water & Electric hookups.

The cabins at Lake Monroe Camping Resorts are a nature retreat for the sports minded and those who want to get away from it all.
Located 8 Miles from Bloomington, Indiana, in the heart of the Lake Monroe recreational area, these neatly crafted log cabins are within hiking distance of the lake and are surrounded by natural Indiana forest, providing the perfect opportunity to experience the wonders of nature.

Tent Camping: If you enjoy being closer to nature, try staying in our primitive spots with your own tent! These spots include a picnic table and fire ring. The use of our showers is also included along with the rest of our facility.
