Shawn’s Hideaway is a 3rd generation family owned business that started in 1962 by Edward “Whitey” Rodgers. It consisted of camping, mobile homes and a marina with a campground store. In 1972, it was sold to George and Geraldine “Gerry” Mumford who was the Rodgers youngest daughter.
