Natural and recreational opportunities abound at Killens Pond State Park, centrally located in the heart of Kent County. The park's centerpiece is the 66-acre millpond which features boating and fishing. The all new Killens Pond Water Park offers resort entertainment in a serene, natural setting.

Shawn’s Hideaway is a 3rd generation family owned business that started in 1962 by Edward “Whitey” Rodgers. It consisted of camping, mobile homes and a marina with a campground store. In 1972, it was sold to George and Geraldine “Gerry” Mumford who was the Rodgers youngest daughter.

We take pride in the appearance of our campground and the community / neighborly atmosphere supported by our campers. Our campground is always neat and clean. You will find spacious sites with plenty of room for sheds, decks, and your favorite landscaping ornaments.

We have an abundance of sites that are nestled in the woods and are large enough for the largest of camping units or the smallest of tents. We have 11 bathhouses spread throughout the campsites, with showers and modern facilities. Our .....
