This hotel was clean and the rooms were remodeled and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and the free Wi-Fi worked well throughout the hotel.
Positives: Great room, great service.
Negatives: No mini bar

Nicely decorated, trendy decor in the bar and they offer a surprisingly affordable champagne brunch on Sundays. The hotel appears to be short-staffed when it comes to bell service and valets: no one when we arrived on Saturday afternoon; only one person retrieving vehicles when we left the next morning and $11 per day to park in Modesto seems expensive.
Overall however, a great bargin!
Positives: Easy access, close to entertainment.
Negatives: Parking is offsite and valet is expensive for locale.

Negatives: Nothing.

It was clean, friendly & helpful staff. Just need a sound proof window to block all the noise at night. Otherwise it was excellent, would stay again in Doubletree.
Positives: Friendly staff.
Negatives: Needs soundproof windows to block noise.

After researching the area accommodations, the Double Tree was the best value for a 3 star rated hotel. Lobby and staff were great. The room was spacious and met our expectations and needs.
Positives: Staff was very friendly and location of hotel was ideal.
Negatives: Carpets in room needed to be shampooed.

This hotel is a high rise that obviously caters to large parties, weddings and conventions. As a result there were noisy people in the halls all hours of the night the Saturday I was there. The facilities were excellent and our room large and well designed. Staff was fairly helpful, with one exception. Because of the nature of our luggage (firearms) we insist on moving our own bags. When we checked out the bellman refused to let us use a luggage cart which was very annoying, especially since he was not busy early Sunday morning. On the up side the bellman made a special effort to get us a cart when we checked in on a busy Saturday night.
Positives: Spacious well laid out room. Good restaurants near.
Negatives: Loud people in halls all night.

I will likely be staying at this hotel a few times a month.
Positives: It has a dining inside the hotel.
Negatives: There was not a valet attendant when I arrived.

The rooms are spacious and attractive. The restaurant has a great brunch buffet. The pool area is well kept and large. The only down side was the near by train tracks with trains blowing their whistles every time they go by.
Positives: I liked the size of the room and the furniture in the room.
Negatives: I did not like the constant train whistle from the train that was a block from the hotel.

Doubletree, Modesto, sits on the transportation hub of the city. With more Downtown renovation, this could be an ideal conference site, even for spouses and kids. Nearby are government buildings, and a fair offering of diverse cuisines. Both an art museum and a "nightclub" are within a few blocks. The hotel is clean, well run, and the staff I encountered was very courteous. In particular, Victoria went out of her way to make my Christmas stay special.
Positives: Victoria of doubletree upgraded my room (gratis) when I explained my situation. Her efforts and kindness made my stay wonderful.
Negatives: The elevators rattle and groan.

I loved this hotel. I travel extensively on business and have been in some pretty awful hotels lately. This was a treat right down to the warm cookie on check in. The staff was great and so was valet parking.
Positives: Service and cleanliness.
Negatives: Lobby under construction but clean.

The hotel staff was wonderful in dealing with their overbooked status, and made alternative arrangements that were satisfactory. Despite the challenge, I had a restful and comfortable stay.
Positives: The comfort of the bed and staff who really care!
Negatives: It was overbooked, and my original reservation was altered.

Was booked into a room where the train noise was too loud, traffic kept us up. The check in took forever. They had several soccer teams staying there and they knew how many people were checking in. Should have had more staff on Friday night. No cookies at check in so they gave us coupons for cookies. When we checked out, they again didn't have cookies and told us to take the coupons to the restaurant. They should have walked over there and got them for us.
Positives: Clean rooms and excellent room service menu, selection, price and quality.
Negatives: Not prepared for the soccer teams.

Positives: Central Location to the event, Employees very nice.
Negatives: None
