Ink Eats & Drinks ( Dining / American ). Located at 2730 North Street. Ink opened in May of 2003 with a hip, funky, atmosphere and late night hours — something very new to Sacramento at that time. We quickly became a hit with Sacramentans and our peers because of our approachable yet inspired menu, great prices and down-to-earth, attentive service. We were the first to bring Sliders to Sac and others have eagerly imitated, endorsing the old saying "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." We recently expanded our patio outside for additional seating in observance of social distancing. Ink Eats & Drinks has been serving locals and out-of-towners for over a decade and we are enjoying every moment of it!

Root Of Happiness - Midtown ( / Tapas ). Located at 808 R Street. We take great pride in being able to provide our customers with the highest quality Kava root from Island nations such as Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Hawaii and Samoa. To achieve this, our Kava undergoes strict quality controls through every step of the process from cutting to powder.
Our quality controls start with us going to the South Pacific regularly and meeting our kava farmers face to face to discus our requirements. Developing personal relationships with our farmers allows us an insight into our products that other vendors simply don't have. We pay our farmers top dollar and only buy their best A-grade crops, always in whole root form. Buying Kava in whole root form affords us the ability to freshly grind your kava before packaging it in air tight bags in our cleanroom to preserve the freshness and potency that would otherwise be impossible to find outside of the islands.

Cafe Roma ( Dining / Italian ). Located at 1013 L Street. If you have ever visited Italy or if you plan to, what you will find is that Café Roma is just like an authentic Italian street café. The first time we visited Italy we found that almost everywhere you went you would find a café that not only had great pasta, pizza, Panini’s, desserts and pastries, but that there was almost always a walk up espresso and gelato bar. And that the ambiance and décor has a distinctive Italian style with beautiful pastel colored surroundings, usually there is an interior design that includes ceramic tile, and beautiful woodwork and stonework.
