Average Hilton with close access to the Freeway. Parking is not convenient and a hassle having to validate ticket each time you pull one from kiosk even though you've already been charged at the front desk upon arrival.
Positives: Close to Freeway.
Negatives: Parking fees and having to get your ticket validated at the front desk each time you pulled a ticket.

Sadly, this was probably my worst hotel experience to date. It was my first time staying at a Hilton and it was disappointing to say the least. It was dirty: I just simply couldn't believe it. The carpets looked like someone had thrown up all over it and then none cleaned it up so dirt was allowed to just be worked into it to become a very deep disgusting stain. It was like this everywhere from the lobby to the halls and into the room.
Positives: Nothing
Negatives: It was the dirtiest hotel I have been to and I have been to quite a few.

I would never intentionally book this hotel again. The GM did not return my phone call regarding the duplicate charge - he was too busy getting ready for the Grand Prix. I called the 800# and they forwarded my call to the hotel & the GM still did not think he needed to speak to me.
Positives: Room was nice.
Negatives: The billed me again for my room - watch out.

My stay at this Hilton was enjoyable. The room was clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable (I've stayed in places where they are not). The staff was very friendly and made me feel they wanted to make sure I had a pleasant stay.
Positives: The room was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly.
Negatives: The parking spaces were too small. It was not easy to park with an SUV.

We stayed for 4 nights, and the bed was just like sleeping on a cloud. The staff was very attentive and went out of thier way to make our stay most comfortable. Due to the fact that this is a hotel with an upscale reputation, I was very disappointed to see how run down and old the hotel looked. The rooms need some love and attention. I say treat your hotel surroundings the way you treat your guests and you will be right on track. It was a good stay all in all.
Positives: The bed was comfortable and room service was great.
Negatives: For the Hilton is was old and rundown. Renovation should be top priority in this hotel.

Overall a nice place, but little things could be improved to rank as quality hotel.
Positives: OK as far as appearance and for general conditions.
Negatives: Communication between front desk and housekeeping lacking or front desk dropped the ball.

The hotel was lovely in every way. Parking is expensive.
Positives: The lobby/room was beautiful and comfortable.
Negatives: Not near walkable restaurants.

Nice, even glitzy hotel. Rooms are very comfortable. They use lots of air fresheners to mask odors. When we walked into our first room, there was an obvious and thick cigarette odor in the supposed NS area of the hotel, but by the time we left our room to try a new room, the staff had sprayed the hotel hallway down with some thick air freshener. Friendly staff, but as with all glitzy hotels, everything costs: breakfast and parking.
Positives: Comfy pillows and bed.
Negatives: Smoke in NS hallways and rooms, paid parking.

Very nice hotel. Having coffee or water or a beverage in the lobby area would have made it nicer. Also, having at least free Internet in the lobby would also be better just to check e-mail.
Positives: The mattress was awesome!
Negatives: Having to pay $15 to self park and $25 for Internet! Parking & Internet should be included in the room fee.

For business travelers it's great because it has a nice bar and metropolitan feel. For the leisure traveler it's great because the location is close to the Queen Mary, Shoreline Drive and the Aquarium of the Pacific.
Positives: Convenient location and clean.
Negatives: Parking was a bit of a pain, limited spaces and expensive.

We stayed for three nights. The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. It was the holiday season and I felt like the Hilton could have done it up a bit more. I was a little disappointed in the details. Loved the Valet staff!
Positives: Valet was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives: A small bottle of apple juice was priced outrageous in the little store.

Very nice layout and beautiful lobby. Bar and restaurant looked nice, but I opted for dining in Downtown Long Beach. Room was very comfortable, a and obviously couldn't beat the price anywhere else. The ambiance was excellent, lots of people around.
Positives: Lots of space, comfortable room, great amenities like LCD TV.
Negatives: Room could have been cleaner large stain on carpet, but lack of amenities in bathroom.

When I entered the lobby I was expecting a nice, upscale hotel. This expectation was not fulfilled as I exited the elevator onto the sixth floor. The hallways smelled like sewage seepage and my room smelled of cigarette smoke. The carpet was dirty. I had higher expectations of a Hilton hotel.
Positives: The bath products were good and there was a full sized hair dryer.
Negatives: It was a bit far from the Pike area, parking is expensive.
