Our stay was because my 9 year old son had surgery at Cedars and we live over 2 hours away. After his outpatient surgery we were given refrigerated medication for him to take every 4 hours. I asked the front desk staff for a fridge for the room to keep the medication in and some juice for him to take it with. I was told no problem they'd send it right up. After an hour and a half, I called to ask where the fridge was and was told it would be a $30 fee or they would store the meds downstairs. REALLY? I said never mind and the next thing I know they are delivering fridge. I told the guy I didn't want to pay for a fridge and he said there was no charge for medical issues. Apparently they don't talk to each other.

Positives: Room was spacious and very clean.

Negatives: Staff wasn't always helpful.

I expected something more from the experience, the Hotel is a little old and the wing where our room was located wasn't nice at all.

Positives: The entrance.

Negatives: The rooms.

The hotel is clean and nice, except for newspapers, nothing is complimentary. No coffee pot, microwave or mini fridge in room.

Positives: Clean and safe.

Negatives: Parking was charged $30/day & Internet $12/day.

Great hotel with lots of history. The location is very convenient for those looking to shop and dine in Beverly Hills and business travelers working in Century City, which is walking distance. Service is great, the front desk greets you by name and the room service even arranged the toiletries I left scattered neatly for me on a towel and hung up a dress shirt in the closet. The hotel bar is pretty pricey. I paid $18 for a Long Island.

Positives: Luxury hotel with immaculate service, great location, and cultural significance.

Negatives: Drinks are expensive!

Old outdated hotel that has a great updated lobby. The parking is expensive. My view was of a artificial grass area with a fountain that was once a pool. The TV never worked right even after I called. Horrible water pressure with a shower from the 60's. We were very disappointed.

Positives: Good price and centrally located.

Negatives: Very old and outdated rooms.

Great location and good place if you are looking to party. Outside bar and big screen video. Not so cool for the family, loud and some fairly scary looking people at the bar when kiddies are around. If you are looking for a romantic kid free weekend in Hollywood, this is your place. If you have a family, look further.

Positives: A-1 Staff

Negatives: Load and more event driven than hotel friendly.

Negatives: Parking was a pain.

Negatives: Parking was too expensive.

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The room was exceptionally nice, staff did a great job, location was excellent, the workout room is unsurpassed, the pool is huge (did not use), and basically it lives up to expectations for a hotel in Beverly Hills.

Positives: Everything appeared to be top quality; Christmas decorations were being put up and they were gorgeous.

Negatives: Parking is expensive--also long $$$ cab ride to LAX.

The hotel has 2 wings: a deluxe wing (Wilshire Tower) and the older wing where they put pay in advance guests. The room is ok but the bathroom is tiny, the smallest bathroom I have ever had at a hotel. For the price I paid, it was fine but don't thing you are getting a luxurious room.

Positives: Pool

Negatives: The bathroom.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Not one thing.

Rooms were small and cramped. Paint was peeling in places in bathroom and walls were banged up from where furniture had hit them and not been repaired in bedroom. A/c was extremely noisy.

Positives: Nice bathrobes in room.

Negatives: Room was small and cramped. Timeliness of service requests was in excess of 45 minutes and unacceptable- multiple calls made
