The Steaming Cup ( Dining / Coffee shop / Tea ). Located at 340 West Main Street. The Steaming Cup is a well-established coffee shop and cafe located in the historic Nickell building in downtown Waukesha. The building was saved from extinction by Steve and Christine VanderBloemen and partners in the 1990’s and subsequently established as a coffee shop by Kerry and Terry Mackay in 2004. Purchased by Cristina and Jason Tofte in 2015, the cafe and coffee shop offers a warm, welcoming environment where attention to detail is paramount.

Our welcoming space was named after the mother of co-owner Alisha Hayes, Patricia Lee Lloyd. Pat was well known for her many well-enjoyed gatherings with family and friends at her home where she served her southern-inspired excellent "all from scratch" platters with love.
