The lodge is located on a 1200 acre sandy lake surrounded by the 220,000 acre Northern Highland State Forest. The historic resort is ideal for anyone who enjoys Northwoods activities such as fishing, boating, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Or, if you prefer, just sit back on the veranda or sit on our sandy beach and soak in the gorgeous scenery. You won't be disappointed.Family owned & operated by the Hintz Family since 1980, the lodge is well maintained and includes a variety of accommodations. You may rent one of our new lakeside villas, cabins, apartments or even rooms within in the historic lodge.
