Buckhorn Retreat
Park Falls, Wisconsin
Buckhorn Retreat is a cottage located in Park Falls.
The Buckhorn Retreat history started in the middle 20's when a small tavern was opened at the junction of Camp C Creek and County Highway G (Now State Highway 182) near Park Falls Wisconsin. Living quarters were built on around 1930, and a partial basement added in 1934. Outdoor plumbing was still used at that time. The original Buckhorn Tavern was a gathering spot for sportsmen for all of its history. Anyone bagging a trophy buck or large fish just naturally went there first to show and brag while slaking their thirst, and refueling their vehicle as well.
Buckhorn Retreat, now a completely remodeled vacation lodge, with 30 acres of land, is surrounded by the Chequamegon National Forest and is adjacent to Recreational Trail 105 part of the Flambeau Trail System, near Park Falls Wisconsin, for easy access to unlimited exploring. Call soon to experience your part in the Buckhorn history.
