The rooms were a bit stuffy. We used AC to cool things down even though it was very cold outside. The Check-in lady was very confused. I had called earlier in the pm and spoke with one of the staff (NLN)who assured that I could get 2 beds. The lady was unaware of this and was at the point of refusing to let me have 2 beds (one for my sister!) She seemed to think that making any changes to the reservation was strictly impossible. I heard her say, this is probably going to get me in trouble if I change the room to 2 beds. (Contrary to the contract). Sometimes the hotels don't know that they can use their discretion.

Positives: One of the check-in staff and his manager were very good.
Negatives: Check-in girl was confused and nearly failed to comply with my request for 2 beds. One of the staff came rescue.

Good quality hotel for the money. Beautiful rooms and very comfortable.
Positives: Remodeled nicely with spacious rooms.
Negatives: The continental breakfast could have been better.

This was a no frills place to sleep.
Positives: Very close to the airport.
Negatives: Messy lobby.

Hotel is under renovation but clean in all areas. Spoke with staff regarding late check- in and they accommodated quite easily. Room was large overall but configured unusually. Only (1) TV for suite. Needs to finish upgrade in all areas. Fold out bed was terrible. My son ended up remaking it into a couch to sleep on.

Positives: Suite hotel.
Negatives: Fold out bed was terrible.

It was nice enough, but undergoing renovation,<BR/>very near the airport and airport noise. The room was a nice business class room.
Positives: Inexpensive.
Negatives: Pitiful continental breakfast, worthless.

The hotel was under heavy construction. I passed the hotel 3 times before realizing that indeed the hotel I was staying at was the one torn apart with heavy machinery surrounding it. No gym, restaurant or hot breakfast.
Positives: Location was great for travelers in and out of Milwaukee.
Negatives: Rooms were very dirty. Lots of hair in the bathroom, and food on the desk. Nasty!

This is a hotel in transition and it clearly showed. Staff seemed inconvenienced having to wait on us and we never saw a smile. Railings absent from stairways were a safety concern.
Positives: Rooms were large, with sitting areas.
Negatives: Construction areas.

Staff was friendly, description of "full continental breakfast" is a huge stretch. Hotel was under reconstruction and probably should not have been open. Hotel was very hard to find with all the signs down-only a small yard sign was up.
Positives: Friendly front desk and free USA Today newspaper.
Negatives: Construction, very hard to find, small single bed.

This hotel was covered in scaffolding and entranceway improvements in various stages of completion. There was no hotel sign. The entrance (in back) was a temporary one and construction dust was everywhere. The work started the next morning before 7:30 AM and the noise was audible in my room.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Under construction.

Room was larger than typical hotel with separate areas. Included desk, couch, chairs, and a nice view. Staff was nice and helpful. Only issue is their beds.
Positives: Location, shuttle, nice staff.
Negatives: Rock hard beds, 7am construction.

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. It was loud, dirty and very difficult to relax in. I may consider staying there when it is completely finished but as far as the whole construction thing now I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Positives: Leaving on the eleventh day of staying there.
Negatives: I did not like all the loud noise of construction and all of the workers all over the place.

It will probably be fine when remodeled, but for this trip, they should not have had any guests staying there.
Positives: The actual room was fair.
Negatives: It was being remodeled, therefore dust, noise, no amenities.

This hotel is currently under significant construction (entire front is missing, lobby is gone (they are using a make-shift space, etc). It is being converted to a different type of hotel and I guess they are keeping parts of the hotel open during the interim. The room we had was clean and spacious (all rooms are suites with a pull out couch). It met our needs perfectly - we arrived around dinner time, checked in, walked to a nearby very good Mexican restaurant, slept and left the next morning at 5:30 am for our flight. We left early enough that we didn't hear any construction noise, but I suspect it's not a place you would want to be during the day. It is very close to the airport, which was critical for our early flight.
Positives: Convenient to airport, spacious room.
Negatives: Lack of infrastructure because of construction.

Finding it was difficult. Even in the middle of construction, room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Positives: Even though construction, hotel was clean and staff helpful.
Negatives: Construction.

Usually the staff will separate guests from the construction/renovation either by floors or wings of the hotel. This was not the case. Between 6:45 AM - 8AM rooms on both sides of my room and above me were gutted. By noon 6 other rooms on my floor had been gutted. There were 2 other occupied guest rooms on my floor. The occupancy based on cars in the parking lot was very low. The room was nice, clean, comfortable, lighting was good, fridge & microwave were great, bedding needed replacing (and this was a room that had not been renovated yet). Location was great. All staff was not associated with putting me in that particular room was great.
Positives: Good location, friendly staff, fridge, microwave.
Negatives: Renovation in progress. No lighted signage (yard sale type signs stuck in the ground).

Big disappointment. If it had a shower and bathroom I would have preferred sleeping in my car alongside the road. Staff was rude, the entire hotel was under construction, very little parking. In short, the place was a dive.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Nothing.

I was very disappointed by this hotel because it was under constructions and barely functional. Most of the hotel was shut off, the internet was non-functional and the room was old and did not have two beds.
Positives: Friendly staff.
Negatives: Under construction.

Lots of torn up projects going on, set up a table in hallway with breakfast, empty by 9:30.
Positives: Friendly staff.
Negatives: Big remodeling going on, very limited continental breakfast.

Great place to stay--rooms nicer and newer than many other places nearby. Nice clean large smoke free suite, due to remodeling. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice tray of pastries for breakfast. No construction dust and nominal periodic noise. The free wireless/wired DLS service was down late at night but they said it would be up the next day. This hotel will probably be rated 3+ after the remodeling that is scheduled to be finished in November, 2008. Operator told me ahead of time that the hotel was being remodeled and offered to give day passes to Bally's Total Fitness because their workout room was closed.
Positives: Close to the airport and my destination--Staff very friendly and helpful.
Negatives: New remodeling was not finished so we came in the back door and hotel had few amenities like a restaurant or hot breakfast.

We were disappointed that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations during the time we were there. Other than that, the hotel was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Positives: Staff was very helpful.
Negatives: Hotel was under construction.
