On a majestic landing once home to the Chippewa Indians, Chippewa Retreat has views to the west overlooking Lake Manitowish on the Manitowish Waters chain, capturing the most spectacular sunsets ever seen. During the summer, our busiest and fullest season, enjoy activities such as tennis, swimming, skiing, boating, lounging by the pool and fishing right from shore, or play golf near by. In the winter, when it is quieter and less frequented, the Retreat is still open to enjoy downhill skiing just 35 miles away, cross country ski trails and 3000 miles of snowmobile trails accessible right from the Retreat's back yard. Fishing and hunting guides are available year 'round, upon request.
