State parks, forests, trails, and recreation areas report about 14 million visits a year. Willow River's campground, on the southern shore of Little Falls Lake, is very popular and has one of the highest occupancy rates in the Wisconsin State Park System. The park staff maintains and inspects each designated campground area. We inspect camp spur, tent pads, fire rings, picnic tables and toilet buildings. Areas between and behind campsites are considered undesignated and aren’t maintained or inspected. The terrain surrounding the park’s campgrounds is rugged and you may encounter steep bluffs. For your safety and enjoyment, campers are encouraged to limit activities to the designated campground areas.
