Rain Forest Resort Village is set in the beautiful Quinault Rainforest on the shores of picturesque Lake Quinault. On the Olympic Peninsula at the northern end of Grays Harbor County, Lake Quinault’s pristine glacier fed waters that laps at the beach of our resort. The Quinault Rain Forest, which is framed by Quinault Valley with ridges that rise over 3000 feet, is the back drop for the Resort. When you are looking at a map of western Washington, you will find us at the southwest corner of the Olympic National Park on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State .
We are surrounded by the Olympic National Forest and Quinault Indian Reservation and we over look Lake Quinault and the Olympic National Park. The Pacific Ocean and Ocean Shores are less than an hour drive from the resort.

The Rain Forest Resort Village has acres of verdant lawns rolling down to the lake that give it a wonderful meadow feeling in the middle of the rain forest. On sunny days, you can relax, soaking up the sun as the kids play in the lake. If you want to be a little more active, the lush green Quinault Rainforest has many walking and hiking trails where you are likely to see waterfalls, streams, creeks, all sorts of indigenous plant life and occasional wild life.

The climate on the west side of the Olympic Peninsula is ideal for growing evergreens, and the Quinault Valley has taken full advantage of this. Quinault has become known as “ The Valley of the Rain Forest Giants” because of the number of record size tree found here. In fact, we have one of them here at our Resort, the ’Worlds Largest Spruce Tree. It is a must see for any one that visits Lake Quinault along with the other record size trees in the valley. Our lakeside RV Park has water and electrical hookups. The sites are back-in only. Most sites are large enough to accommodate even the largest of RVs. There are 31 RV Sites . The Campground is open year round, restrooms are closed in the winter.
Fireplace Cabins - All of our fireplace cabins have lake views and private decks. Some offer kitchens, while others have jetted tubs and some have both. Our cabins come in different sizes, some sleep two, some four and others sleep up to five people... They are a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Our guests love the fireplace cabins, they keep coming back, for many reasons, and they keep telling their friends about the Rain Forest Resort Village. So, it is a good idea to make reservations early, so you can get (the cabin and the dates that you want). This is especially true in the summer months and holiday weekends. Rates for the cabins vary (by the cabin) and by the time of year.
