A brand new Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites is located in historic Hot Springs, the Southern Gateway to South Dakota's gorgeous Black Hills. The hotel is located just East of the nationally rated Southern Hills Golf Course, and just across the street from the prehistoric Mammoth Site. Hot Springs is also home to the world famous Evans Plunge, the worlds largest naturally warm indoor pool. Within just a short drive is the magnificent Mt. Rushmore monument, as well as other must see attractions, such as the Wild Horse Sanctuary, Wind Cave National Park, and Custer State Park. The Hotel offers both Single King and Double Queen rooms and Suites, and a two-room Jacuzzi Suite.
There are also three Kid's Suites, that have a bunk bed, TV with DVD and VHS, and activity table.
All rooms are nonsmoking and have Free High Speed Internet.
There is also internet access available in the business center located near the lobby. The hotel also provides a fitness room with treadmills and weight machine. You can also take a dip in our calming whirlpool. You can relax and enjoy the amazing view from our private courtyard. Furnished with gazebos and a gorgeous fountain made of natural rock. This courtyard is the perfect complement to any stay. Located right next to the Hotel is the Boulder Falls Convention Center. This elegant building has a 6,000 square foot main room.

Friendly staff, however, they did not know too much about their own town.
Positives: Free breakfast buffet had a good selection and food was fresh.
Negatives: Pool was closed due to renovation however no reduced price in room rate.

This is the best hotel. I would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed.
Positives: It was very nice, clean and attractive. The grounds and landscape are fantastic.
Negatives: Absolutely nothing.

We were delayed by a snow storm on our way, called and they held our room for us till the next morning when we could arrive. Staff was friendly, checked on things for us while we were on our hunting excursion during the day and could not call ourselves. Night staff would put us out something to eat long before the normal setup time for breakfast. Rooms were great.
Positives: Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Great location.
Negatives: Can't think of anything.

The hotel was OK, nothing spectacular, but it had only a hot tub, and no swimming pool, this was a big disappointment as we took our grandson on this trip and he wanted to swim.
Positives: Location near the Mammoth digs.
Negatives: No swimming pool.

The hotel was wonderful. The staff was quite nice, and helpful. The suite was far above my expectations. A truly nice hotel!

This hotel was wonderful and will stay again and plan to take my family of about 20 in Sept. Close to Evans Plunge and a super restaurant across the highway Dakota Grill best hamburgers.
Positives: Very quiet and wonderful.
Negatives: Fluffier pillows.
