Situated 25 miles south of Rapid City, Custer State Park Resort is within 25 miles of Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Crazy Horse Memorial, Windcave National Park and Jewel Cave National Monument.

Starting at Rapid City I-90, Exit 61 Highway 16T South to Highway 79. South left at Highway 79 intersection. 17 miles to Highway 36, turn West right. Highway 36 turns into US Highway 16A.
