The one side of the hotel looked out over the hills of the Poconos and they stuck us in a crappy room that looked out over the rooftop and parking lot. This is not just this property but in 4 out of 5 properties.
Positives: The receptionist was friendly.
Negatives: It is old and beat. It is sadly in need of repair.

This hotel needs to be gutted and rebuilt from the inside out. The location is great, but there is ground in dirt everywhere.
Positives: Nice location.
Negatives: Dirties common areas of any hotel I ever stayed at.

Hotel was in a wonderful location. We were there for the changing of the leaves. There were colors all around with a pond in the back.
Positives: Location
Negatives: Wish we could have stayed more than one night.

Okay for the price, I got from Priceline. Nice location and space but hotel desperately needs upgrade in decor, eg. carpets, beds, etc.
Positives: Nice location and beautiful views of moutain and lake.
Negatives: Room decor and facilities needs updating.

Looks like it was built in the 50's- Meaning it looks like it hasen't been painted or updated since then. Bed was thin and hard, pillows were cheap and thin, peeling paint, noisy A/C beyond normal.
Positives: Nothing
Negatives: Dirty, dank, dark, old, inconvenient location to everything

Overall, good though should include breakfast. Also, it would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the rooms as breakfast is not included.

Although the hotel had very friendly and helpful staff people, the facilities themselves were not what I would expect from a three star hotel. The carpets were worn and very outdated. Our room was adequate but had many signs of age and over use. It is not a place to which I would return.
Positives: It did have a beautiful country setting.
Negatives: It was old and it should its age.

Negatives: Needs some updates.

Staff not very polite, they couldn't stop playing solitaire on the computer ling enough to help with anything. Sheets didn't fit the bed properly. Elevators were not working.
Positives: We got the room for a good rate.
Negatives: Rooms were not very clean, pool area was dirty no towels.

Was once a nice hotel, now there was a skeleton staff with little interest in the guest. Beautiful view of the lake if you don't look down to the smoking area of the staff, numerous stray cats, dirty wheel barrow, and weeds. I took my son to a nearby event and returned a few moments after 9 and was told the kitchen was closed as in closed no room service no nothing. He said Domino's might deliver. Room was dated and needed doors replaced and furniture replaced. Warping and paint peeling on the bathroom door. With tax, $98.00. I was ripped off for such a nice hotel, from the front. Very disappointed and will not recommend to only my worst of enemies.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: 1/3 room shades to wake you at dawn, limited food offered, deteriorating doors, carpet, etc.

The hotel was a nightmare. Our room was dirty, it looked like the bathroom had not been cleaned--black mold everywhere, walls, shower curtain and behind the toilet tank (very thick). The coffee pot had not been cleaned after a previous guest used it. I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone. The lobby was over run with out of control guests and their kids. It was definitely a circus.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Everything else-room, pool, restaurant, bar.

The staff at this hotel are very accommodating. The location is perfect for camelback and camel beach as well as restaurants and shopping. The cons to this hotel is that the restaurant was short staffed so the service was slow. The hotel is very clean but could use some updating like refrigerators in the rooms and some personal conveniences. Also, they should have restaurant service to the indoor and outdoor pools. I would stay again.
Positives: Convenient to attractions and shopping.
Negatives: Older decor and no modern conveniences in the room.

This place is disgusting. It is old, the elevator is going to die, the rooms were sub standard. The pool/gym is a joke. My shower was not cleaned from previous guest, which makes me wonder about the towels. I would of rather slept in a tent. It is time to renovate, for this place is the last place I would ever stay. Just a disgusting experience. The surrounding area is nice!
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Old, nasty.

I understand they were doing some remodeling, which we did not know when we booked this hotel. We found our stay uncomfortable from the poor quality of the bed and pillows. The plumbing in the bath worked poorly causing the tub to fill while showering. Budget hotel at best.
Positives: The hotel setting was nice.
Negatives: The room was not very clean, and everything seemed worn. The shower and sink drain ran very slow, and when told they acted like they did not care.

Everything inside hotel is sticky, because of A/C not dehumidifing. Otherwise beautiful location and setting and quiet. All amenities were great.
Positives: landscape
Negatives: very humid inside hotel even though A/C was on

This hotel provided everything we were looking for in getting away for the weekend for some rest and relaxation. There were plenty of restaurants close-by, outlet stores for shopping, a choice of indoor or outdoor pool, excercise room, and a wonderful view.
Positives: We loved the beautiful surroundings, the cleanliness, and the amenities such as indoor pool, hottub, and workout room.
Negatives: I was hoping for some lotion in the bathroom!

Very nice staff and hotel, breakfast was good and reasonable.
Positives: That they upgraded us.
Negatives: There was no food available after 11pm.
