The hotel is very nice. It is very clean and very kid friendly. Whatever I called the front desk for, they quickly came with the items. I rented a refrigerator for $20, only to realize, I had no microwave to heat our food back up that we ordered out. I wish they had microwave as well. I also think that the fridges and the microwaves should come in the bigger rooms as a standard, or if you are traveling with children or as a family. That way you can eat out and save and reheat for the kids or for you to try to save some money as eating out 3x a day can be pricey for a family. I could have gone to the dollar general and got some plates and utensils had I had a microwave along with the fridge and saved about $200 in food expenses. We will definitely be going back there to stay; as we have family there we were visiting. But hopefully they will have microwaves as well along with the refrigerators to rent, if not in the bigger rooms, or the entire rooms. The hotel can be a bit loud though. You can hear people next to you coming and going and their conversations and so on. I heard people next to me bathing their daughter and she was screaming very early in the morning. Also I heard them come in the night before at 1:30 am. and what all they were talking about. It is hard to get a good nights sleep because of hearing others or loud doors closing or so on throughout the night. Because of the hotels convenience and being close to Maine street and my grandmother's house, I will definitely stay there again. I have stayed there in the past as well. It is very clean and the staff is very nice. Especially the young man at the front desk and the woman with the accent (Russian maybe) the day we were checking out. The cleaning people for the rooms, they were okay. When we got back to our rooms, it looked like they had just made the beds and threw our kids clothes back on the beds where they were to begin with. So I put a do not disturb sign on our door.
Positives: Right in the center of everything. Main street has many shops we walked to. My kids loved it. And it is a short walk away from my grandmothers.
Negatives: Very noisy if someone is in a room next to you. You can hear them. I heard a little girl crying while getting a bath and conversations at 1a.m.

For an older hotel I thought it was a nice room very clean and the staff was very cordial.
Positives: I am originally from Ligonier and I remember the Ramada was being built so I know how old the hotel is.
Negatives: The pool opens late and closes early.

Friendly when we came in. Friendly on the way out. Not very helpful when trying to resolve customer issues. Convenient location to local attractions and businesses. Highly recommended for that reason.
Positives: Close to local attractions. Excellent security inside.
Negatives: Had a filthy bathtub. Did not resolve matter when brought to their attention. Unclean trays and hallways.

Adequate for the location, price, and the fact I just needed to get some rest before I continued my trip. I was placed in a room near an entrance from the parking area and the swimming pool. Not my choice at all, but was what there was. Perhaps it would be better to eliminate these rooms. I was surrounded by loud conversation and crying children. I was very tired, though, so I did not care at this point.
Positives: I was where I needed it to be.
Negatives: Not the quietest place I have stayed. Elevator was unpredictable. Parking not the best.

The lady at the front desk was luke warm. Never smiled, acted like we three adults were an obstacle to her. In my room, the A/C didn't work and didn't get fixed after I called. The desk light didn't work, the sink light came on during the night, but not when I needed it. The restaurant had four star prices, two star service and canned or frozen food service. Everything was warm. The beer was warm. When they brought a cold beer, they put it in a warm glass. The soup tasted like Boy-R-Dee out of a can and warm. The crab-stuffed mushrooms were warm and tasted like micro waved Swansons. The bread was definitely off the shelf dinner rolls. The filet Mignon was so tasteless so poorly prepared, my associate finally asks for ketchup. The Italian foot was soaked in olive oil and warm. They brought the food and said plates are hot. When I tasted mine, I picked the plate up with my hands to demonstrate warm. Since we were in a hurry, my two associates ate breakfast there the next morning. Or they at east ordered it, but didn't finish.
Positives: The town was quaint.
Negatives: I was offended by prices that didn't match what we got.
