Indian Creek Campground
Cherokee, North Carolina
Indian Creek Campground is a campsite / RV park located in Cherokee.
We have 2 beautiful fast running creeks cascading through the campground. The larger creek, Bunches Creek, is open for fishing and is stocked with trout 2 times a week by the Tribal Fish and Game Management Program. We sell the necessary tribal fishing permits. Campers can trout fish right from their creek-side campsite. Indian Creek Campground also makes a perfect base camp for day trips in all directions - Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge (Dollywood), Franklin (ruby mining), Maggie Valley (Ghost Town in the Sky), Bryson City (river rafting and Great Smoky Mountains Railway) and numerous hiking trails throughout the park. The best things to see in Cherokee are the Cherokee Indian Museum (open all year), the Living Indian Village and Unto These Hills Outdoor Drama (in season).

Additional details
Indian Creek Campground has 68 campsites, most of which have electric and water hookups - many also have sewer hookups (sorry, no sewer hookups are available on any of our creek-side campsites). We also have some very popular primitive and secluded tent sites located on both creeks. The nights here can get quite chilly even in mid-summer, so bring warm clothing and blankets.
Other than a beautiful setting, we also offer clean restroom facilities with hot water. We have a playground area, a dump station, laundry and camp store. Open campfires are permitted, and we sell dry firewood. (Campers are reminded that no wood gathering of any kind is permitted outside the campground. All property surrounding the campground is private property. Please respect our neighbors).
