Over a good value for the dollar. Room was clean and neat, not thread bear, but a little on the tired side. Could use some renovations and updates in the room. Breakfast was nice, but staff was not the most pleasant. Make sure to get there early, otherwise there may be a wait and less then excited staff. Would definitely stay there again if I am back in Taos.
Positives: Quiet location, peaceful.
Negatives: Breakfast staff was a little surly some mornings.

Needs updating, nice hot breakfast, nice to have fridge and microwave in room, dingy, bathrooms need talc and updates.

Very good value. We would stay here again. Beds were comfortable. Hot breakfast was good.
Positives: Clean, good price, free hot breakfast.
Negatives: Slight smell, but you don't notice it after a while - just when you first walk in the room.

This hotel is just fine. The Taos police hang out at the gas station across the street, and I saw them drive through the parking lot of this hotel. After abandoning the Best Western Kachina up the road due to filthy conditions, this Quality Inn was just fine, clean, quiet, friendly, safe. There were warm fires in the lobby, along with a coffee machine. The front desk was very friendly.
Positives: Clean, friendly and spacious.
Negatives: Replace carpet in hallway.

I was very disappointed with the mildew smell in the rooms. I even tried relocating to another room and it was also bad. It was obvious that there had been some ceiling water damages on the first floor rooms.

Very friendly receptionists and cleaners. Everybody was happy with the choices of (free) cooked breakfast. The halls and stairs were a bit shabby and the bed was past its prime. But generally a very enjoyable stay.
Positives: Cooked breakfast with many choices. Friendly staff.
Negatives: Rooms a bit shabby; beds are getting worn out.

We found this to be a clean, accessible motel, with decent rooms and a friendly staff. We're no longer used to smokers in bars, so the bar was a little tough for us to enjoy, but that's a matter of laws in the state. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. I'd go back here.

If you just want a clean room for place to sleep and take a shower, it's ok. Other than that, nothing special and should have only be worth about $89.00.

Negatives: Needs upgrading for the price.
