I've had good experiences with Hyatt & Hyatt Place, even older ones, but this was definitely the worst Hyatt I have ever been to. Although it looked good at a distance - The bed was sagging and squeaky, the refrigerator chirped all night, the safety bar in the shower had a cover piece hanging off exposing rusty screws, the shower floor had dirt caked in, the carpet was very dirty as evidenced by my socks, there were big hairballs under the ottoman, there was no book showing the basic hotel and local information (such as emergency exits, Internet, and restaurant information), there was not a phone book, and there was urine on the bathroom floor.

Positives: I like the room layout and amenities.

Negatives: This was the most run down Hyatt I have ever been to.

This hotel far surpassed our expectations. The staff were exceptional and bent over backwards to help us. The rooms are large and have giant flat screen TVs. We told my in-laws and all their friends about how friendly and accommodating the staff is. I highly recommend this Hyatt Place and will definitely return there.

Positives: The shuttle service is like having a personal chauffeur.

Negatives: It does not have a restaurant.

Very nice hotel. One of my favorites.

Positives: Clean, bed, refrigerator, room arrangements and breakfast.

Negatives: Location.

This hotel is great... super-close to the airport, with an excellent breakfast and staff members who do everything they can to make you feel as if you're staying in a full-service Hyatt! Nice decor, comfy beds, wake up call was right on time, good food with 24 hour service, which was very unexpected!

Positives: Braden Hamm, a staff member, was extraordinary in the service he offered while we stayed at the hotel.

Negatives: Nothing!

Hotel is beautiful, modern and efficient, perfect for business travelers. Lobby is sleek and had a snack bar, computer access and lots of seating to wait for hotel shuttle to the airport. Huge flat screen TV in room, placed so you can swivel it to see it from either the sitting area or the bed.

Positives: Very convenient,

Negatives: When i called from airport for shuttle, nobody answered phone until third try. Front desk folks run around the busy lobby and don't always man phones.

Overall a good deal if you don't have to pay full price. Our room was decorated fairly well and large, with a large wrap around couch that converted to a sofa bed. Bathroom wasn't as nice as the rest of the room. Very close to the airport. Hotel staff front desk staff was very friendly despite being overworked. There was only one person working there at 2 pm when a bunch of people were trying to check in.
The first free airport shuttle is at 5 am, which isn't early enough to make the first flights at ABQ which are at 6 am. The pool was not good.

Positives: The room was a large suite-style room.

Negatives: First airport shuttle at 5 am isn't early enough to make 6am flight. Pool was cloudy.

Clean. Near absolutely nothing but the airport. Downtown hotels are quite close and offer a much better experience. I stayed at the Hardrock Hotel and Casino on my return trip and it had a 5 minute free airport shuttle, 6 restaurants, gambling, a spa and a lot more bang for the buck.

Positives: Close to airport.

Negatives: It is strictly an airport hotel; worth it to take a few minutes more and go downtown.

I enjoyed the convenience of this hotel being near the airport. It met all of my needs.

Positives: Convenience to highways.

Negatives: Not too many restaurants nearby.

Excellent location for airport convenience & accessibility to the highway. The rooms were clean, bed extremely comfortable & food not too shabby. The staff clearly needed a happy pill.

Positives: Extremely comfortable bedding, clean, great location & beautiful view of the sierra.

Negatives: Staff was less then friendly, very short & abrupt, not the best I've seen.

The staff was very friendly.

Positives: Very nice and clean.

Negatives: Wish there were more ice machines and vending machine.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 19 May 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

Friendly staff, easy access to gambling, room walls are thin so you can here your neighbors TV/argument/etc.

Positives: I liked that the front desk staff were friendly and attentive.

Negatives: There were still hand towels and the like piled up on the bathroom floor when we first walked into the room.

Near the airport but somewhat hard to find, especially with road construction in the area. Hotel is very modern, clean, & pleasant. My room had a small separate living area. TV selection was less than great, e.g. no Fox News or TCM.

Positives: Modern and up-to-date.

Negatives: The only pool they had was outside.

The room was fantastic, It is just very difficult to this hotel, when you first go there. After getting to it, it's easy.

Positives: The flat screen TV.

Negatives: Breakfast was weak.

Have stayed at this location several times and has always been great.

Positives: Quiet, convenient, very comfortable and shuttle service is great.

Negatives: Water temperature in tub / shower was not hot enough.

The hotel was attractive, spacious and well designed. My room was very large, with a desk for working and a small table for eating snacks. There was a refrigerator and a wet bar. I loved the various media hookups so I could watch my Balloon Fiesta pictures. The beds were extremely comfortable and the wash basin on the outside of the bathroom made it very useful for early morning, rapid getaways. All in all, a great hotel!

Positives: Although I think there were a number of people there, it was very quiet.

Negatives: It was difficult/expensive to get into town since I didn't have a car.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 02 Aug 2009 rated 9 out of 10.

Very nice, new hotel, convenient to airport, free parking and free breakfast

Positives: Location and very new.

Negatives: Staff left list of client's names and room numbers out on counter.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 19 Jul 2009 rated 8 out of 10.

Overall I liked the hotel, but was very disappointed in the cleanliness of my room.<BR/>I would think twice about staying here again because of that.

Positives: Contemporary decor.

Negatives: Room was dirty. Hair on pillow, hair in bathroom, bug.
