Price was ridiculous for this level of hotel, but big event in town pushed prices up. Restocking of room for second night was poor. Wouldn't stay again.
Positives: Location to football stadium was excellent.
Negatives: Clogged toilet and unresponsive staff.

I have stayed at this place a number of times, and it is adequate for a no-frills, economy stay. After checking in, I asked for a couple extra towels and the manager gave me a very hard time about giving them to me. You already have 3 towels for 2 people! And 2 children, I told him. "How old are they?" he demanded. Teenagers. So he grudgingly gave me the towels. However, the next night, when I asked for an extra blanket I was informed that, "We are very busy, very full this week, so, no". I was so appalled that I didn't attempt to press my simple request, just walked away bewildered. When I checked out (not trusting to get an accurate billing, though really that was just on principle). I informed the manager (I took his card but don't have it in front of me at the moment) that I had stayed there many times before, but I would have to be in extreme circumstances before I would ever stay there again! It's really too bad, since it is very convenient to UNR and downtown Reno. I'm actually going back there again this weekend, but I found a much cheaper place with very nice people just a couple of miles away.
Positives: Location and price pretty good.
Negatives: Manager, uncooperative, refused extra blankets when requested.

Positives: How close it was to downtown.
Negatives: The Management was Rude, ran credit card more times then needed, and could not communicate well do to him strong accent.

Our stay was not pleasant, staff was rude & we will never stay at a super 8 again! Thanks but no thanks! Rooms really need a lot of repairs & when we booked we expected all rooms together not separated between buildings!
Positives: Nothing!
Negatives: You need to hire staff that speak & understand English!

When we arrived, the manager was arguing with a customer who wanted her reservation canceled because she had been disgusted with the condition of her room at check-in, not ONE room, but TWO. My room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. I didn't even check the sheets; I slept on top of the bedspread for fear of catching something. On top of one of the bedspreads, there was a small zip-lock baggies that had some white residue in it, and on the back of the dresser, there was what appeared to be a marijuana stem. The compact refrigerator was not working, and upon examination, the reason was evident: the power cord had been cut in half, and an attempt had been made to fix it with wire nuts. The room reeked of soiled linens. It's obvious that this hotel is an older property, but I've been in dozens of hotels older than this one that were perfectly acceptable. This hotel is OBVIOUSLY a source of complaints... the convenience store next door even has a sign with the toll free complaint line for Super8 posted, and when I inquired about this, the manager told me that he and his staff had gotten so many complaints about the hotel, that he decided to just post the number. I have NEVER had such an awful experience with a hotel.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Rude management; filthy, unsafe room.

Nothing to write home about, Just a room and a place to lock ourselves up at night. I got up in the middle of the night and the bathroom floor was flooded with a toilet leak. I wondered why the toilet wiggled! At check-In, we were given key to room and when we used it the room had not been cleaned since last customer. We were getting ready for to attend a wedding and had to get staff ourselves to get the room done as there was not time to go somewhere else or other reservations available. I will not stay there ever again.
Positives: It was a room.
Negatives: We were given key. Opened door, room cleaned from last customer, toiled leak

The drapery was coming down. The black padded potty seat gave the impression that it may not be clean. Updating the lamps and furniture would be nice.
Positives: Near down town.
Negatives: Old and not updated.

It was to far for me to walk with my 11 year old child to and from our reason for being there so cab money was needed. The next morning when I called the clerk about the continental breakfast he told me it was over. There was no info about a breakfast time given or available to be read. Next time I will plan my own trip.
Positives: The room was clean except for the smell of cigarettes in the covers and pillows.
Negatives: It was to far from my destination.

DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL! You can do far better for your money. It was a horrible place to stay. The manager was very rude to me when I told him there was no hot water for my shower. I asked for an iron and it was filthy dirty!...Then the so called breakfast was stale and they put it all away at 8:45 ,when my friend who came at 8:50, and we were told there was none left and breakfast is served until 9. And I PAID 75.00 on a saterday night, when I could have stayed at a nicer 1 star hotel my associate stayed at for 55.00!!!!!!!!! this is definitly a 1 star hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Positives: unfortunatly NOTHING!!!
Negatives: EVERYTHING WAS HORRIBLE

The manager was very rude to me when I told him there was no hot water for my shower. I asked for an iron and it was dirty. They took the free breakfast away at 8:45 even though it was supposed to end at 9:00. The alarm clock was broken also. I will never stay at that hotel again and I think you can do better for the same price.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: There was no hot water for my shower.
