I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I travel to las Vegas 6 times a year, and this was the worst trip ever! The check-in was not explained, and there was a hold on my debit card for a week. The rooms were more expensive than advertised hidden fees. The dining was way over priced with few options. The pool was nice, but not enough to make me want to stay at the Hard Rock again.

Positives: The pool design.

Negatives: The hotel staff, and the restaurant service/prices.

Nobody is friendly, very snobby, maid service forgot to clean one day, café bad service, messed up my reservations - had to wait 2 hours to check in, charge me twice on my card - had to wait a week for it to drop off & had to file complaint w/ my bank. the hotel never acknowledged my concerns or tried to help me. It was a nightmare, left a day early.

Positives: The Room was nice & beds were very comfortable.

Negatives: Not friendly, messed up my reservations & charged me twice on my card.

The Hard Rock in Vegas was excellent. The staff were fantastic. It was not overpriced. I got an upgrade on our room when we arrived. The memorabilia was fun to see. You can smoke everywhere, so I wouldn't call it family friendly. But the room service was prompt and not too expensive. Overall I had an amazing stay there. I would recommend this to anyone, especially couples.

Positives: The room was amazing. The staff were efficient. I was comfortable.

Negatives: There wasn't a thing I didn't like.

Very nice hotel with nice rooms. Hotel staff was helpful when needed.

Positives: Nice rooms and clean.

Negatives: Long walk to Vegas Strip, very loud, girls dancing on the poles.

I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Hard Rock. The rooms were fabulous and the ambiance was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and can truthfully say it was one of the best trips to Vegas that I have ever taken.

Positives: It was fun, hip, and edgy.

Negatives: Restaurant staff (waiter) left a lot to be desired.

This hotel is great, the staff was friendly, the place is young and cool!

Positives: This hotel is awesome! Well decorated, clean and has a great vibe!

Negatives: Location is good, but not quite on the strip.

This is a "party" hotel. Expect a lot of noise. Several travelers (staying at the HRH) that I spoke with had billing issues. Although not what I requested or paid for, the room was nice (loved the shower and jetted tub). We weren't told that the pool was closed when we checked in. A refrigerator is not standard in the rooms. There were too few casino staff (waiters/waitresses and machine attendants). I would not stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to others.

Positives: Great location.

Negatives: Somewhat unfriendly staff, downgraded room when told it was an upgrade, resort fee for items not available.

The Hard Rock is a unique hotel, but overpriced and not well maintained. It's in a bad location that you cannot walk to any place you'd like to go. Need a $20 cab ride each way each time. The restaurants were overpriced, the food just so-so and the wait staff was among the worst I've ever experienced and I do travel a lot. I would not stay there again. Much nicer and better places on the strip like the MGM Grand, etc.

Positives: Nothing

Negatives: Service was poor and the lcoation was bad.

Great if you are 20 years old --- love noise in the lobby.

Positives: Cleanliness

Negatives: Valet staff was horrible.

The front desk staff was rude. There was no bellman to help us with our bags out of the car and up to our room. The room had lights out and not enough light to see. The bed was not fully functional. The pool situation was ridiculous!

Positives: The Spa

Negatives: The staff seems to cater only to the younger than 30 crowd

This is the second time I've stayed at his hotel this year within the past 5 months. I have got to say that my experience at the pool was very disappointing this time around. It is upsetting that a hotel guest has to pay to use a lounge chair. The staff was rude and demanding, not to mention that the waitress service was horrible. What ever happened to first come first served, I guess making as much money as you can is more important that making a guest feel welcome and appreciated. I will think twice before staying at this hotel again because of my experience at the pool.

Positives: Great party atmosphere.

Negatives: Having to pay

Hard rock hotels are always rock!! The room is an extra with nice and comfortable beds and pillows. The pool operating hours was a huge disappointment. It opens at 10 and close at 6, they really don't allow people to stay in the pool after 6, and the sand in the pool was not soft, other than that, everything was awesome!.

Positives: All about rock. It's like a rock museum for me!!

Negatives: Swimming pool operating hours were bad.

The hotel charged me an extra $17.00 for taxes and fees. They also made me put up a $100 deposit that I was not prepared for.

Positives: Comfortable beds, very clean rooms especially the bathroom.

Negatives: The walk from the parking lot to the room was very far.

I would recommend this facility to anyone traveling with kids/husband/friends. The rooms were clean; fairly easy to get to.

Positives: The location was great; the variety of food, drink, and accessibility to all was a plus.

Negatives: It was very hot: would have been nice to have the monorail connected to the hotel.

Hotel is in good location that cater for mostly business travelers or younger people. Lobby music is too loud. I tried to do early check-in. The hotel clerk said she would call me as soon as a room is available but she never called. There was no house phone in the lobby and eve bell service cannot tell me where it is. He pointed outside but the hotel outside people sent me back inside. The casino lighting is too dark. Smoke inside makes me sick most of the time.

Positives: Rooms are larger than most hotels, LCD TV, sound system.

Negatives: The extra $15 resort fee that does not even provide internet access.

Awesome time, so much fun.

Positives: The smell of it.

Negatives: Kinda beaten up but its to be expected because of the partying.

The Hard Rock was much nicer than I expected. I didn't have any issues - at least not like some of the other reviewers. My room had a hair dryer, the staff was very cool, and the 'noise' level created a fun place to play. I don't understand the complaints about the $7 fee, these folks have apparently never stayed at the Trump which charges a $15. Also, if you want cheap Internet, get a Cricket air card. I never cracked open my computer the during my stay - too busy having fun.

Positives: The room was awesome. The bar tender was friendly and made our trip.

Negatives: Its a walk to the strip.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean and looks luxurious. The bed is probably one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on. I'll definitely stay there again. The downside is that it does not offer free internet service. It charges for about $10 a day.

Positives: Clean. Luxurious room. Very comfortable bed.

Negatives: No international adapter for guest to borrow.

I checked out on first day and went to the flamingo its a much nicer hotel and half the price.

Positives: Nothing.

Negatives: Very rude staff.

The rooms were comfortable and decorated different then most hotel rooms. Loved the modern decor. The swimming pool was awesome with sandy beaches. Definitley NOT where I would take my kids, especially boys beacausre there is a lot of skin showing throughout the hotel. Even more so then most of the hotels i've stayed in in vegas.

Positives: Swimming pool was excellent and the rooms were nice.

Negatives: They were expanding and the construction was loud! Also not the atmosphere we really liked kind of skanky people.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 02 Apr 2009 rated 8 out of 10.

Rooms are very modern and a good size with comfortable beds but showing wear. Carpet was stained in room. Casino is smoky and dark. Rock and roll fixtures and memorabilia was very cool and interesting.

Positives: Awesome food at Ago Restaurant.

Negatives: Mandatory $100 deposit at check-in.

Great hotel, nice, clean, spacious rooms with great view of the strip.

Positives: Rooms were spacious and clean.

Negatives: A lot of construction and the pool was closed.

The extremely loud music was a deterrent for me not just in the main public area, outside and in elevators, too much! Hotel staff was competent but not overly friendly. They charge an extra resort fee 7.63. I am not happy about that. I hope someone follows up on that to me.

Positives: The Japanese restaurant. Staff was great.

Negatives: Construction all night long, very noisy hotel.

The gaming area was small and provides enough for most tastes. If you have a family you may want to determine the environment - it is rock and roll afterall.

Positives: Away from the LV Strip.

Negatives: Construction starts at 6:00 AM.

Fun place to stay if you want to party, see and be seen. The rooms have seen better days. Although clean, carpets and fixtures need replacement to make it a true 4 star hotel.

Positives: Good nightlife.

Negatives: Rooms are rundown; stained carpets, damaged fixtures.
