Hotel is located in Summerlin (West Las Vegas), which made it convenient for my needs. The price was good, except for the hidden "resort fee" that we had to pay at checkin, which we were not aware of. I am not sure what that fee was for, except for "additional profit". The rooms were nice and clean. The toiletries were sparse. The pool is small by LV standards, and is only open from 7AM to 9PM. The parking is a longish walk, but that's par for the course in LV. I would go back.
Positives: Humidity level of airconditioning made the air more pleasant to breathe.
Negatives: Hidden "resort fee" that we had to pay at checkin even though we had prepaid the room.

Negatives: Casino.

I had no problem with the hotel. When making my reservation I had requested two beds, and was never asked if I wanted a non-smoking room. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that was all that was available. I was told my reservation said best available and that was what I was given.
Positives: The hotel was convenient to all areas.
Negatives: I had no problem with the hotel.

Overall experience was good. Clean upgraded rooms, front desk agent made sure to get us into a nice room with a view of the golf course. But it was nice to be away from the hassle and bussle of the city being out at the Suncoast Hotel.
Positives: Affordable, upscale, and entertaining.
Negatives: No full length mirrors in bedroom. Too far from Vegas strip.

The hotel was nice in every way. It was a great location for us. This is nothing against the hotel at all but I would like to have the option to exclude hotels with casinos in Las Vegas. The price was great, too but we don't gamble and to have to go through the casino with all of it's smoke is a pain.
Positives: Extra-large rooms, very accommodating staff.
Negatives: Have to go thru casino-need to option to opt out of casino.

Overall it was ok, but my tub and toilet was stop up while we were renting the room. the response time was very quick in taking care of the problem.
Positives: Location
Negatives: Smoking in casino area burns your eyes.

Very attractive building, nice parking area. The check in lobby should be in a different area than so close to the gambling tables. There should be a lobby leading to the elevator rather than having to walk through the casino. It is awkward with luggage, and the smoke and noise are disturbing after hours of travel.
Positives: Extremely comfortable beds, well equipped bathrooms.
Negatives: Non smoking eating areas are not away enough to avoid smoke.

Over all the place was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sun coast Hotel and resort. My sister and I will stay there on our next trip to Las Vegas. Thank you for your service. Even though I lost money in the Casino.

I am definitely going back. Much friendlier than the strip hotels. Great gambling and generous comps. A standard room was fine and the steak restaurant was great!
Positives: Friendly staff who appreciate your business.
Negatives: A distance from the strip.

A comfortable hotel, with many types of restaurants to choose from. Staff was overall helpful and friendly. About 30 minutes from the main strip, however, the hotel provides a shuttle bus to and from the strip, as well as the airport. Buses are not frequent enough though!
Positives: Rooms were clean, many restaurants to choose from.
Negatives: Very far away from the main strip and shuttle bus is too infrequent.

Off the beaten track, very inconvenient without personal vehicle.
Positives: Good restaurants, service.
Negatives: Only 1/2 floor smoking.

Our family stayed in Suncoast for one night with a positive impression. The directions for the location are easy just off the freeway. We had a room on the 8th floor with breathtaking views of the hills toward the golf course. The bowling center in the hotel is very well run and fun to play in. First we noticed a high proportion of seniors in the gaming area but everyone was polite, more so than the strip. The only disaster we had was at the oyster bar, Christmas eve and there was one waitress, you can imagine the rest. Overall will come back again.
Positives: Off the strip, for safety reason. Gamers are polite.
Negatives: Spa is outdoors. For looks it is good but not practical for users.

Great hotel off the strip with large rooms. Be sure to request room overlooking golf course and mountains great views and quiet. Convenient to freeway and ten min. To strip properties. Parking is very good if choosing not to valet park not too long a walk.
Positives: Big spacious rooms, non smoking.
Negatives: Grungy around base of toilet in room.

The valet is great, the check in process was smooth, they had my reservation no problems. However, housekeeping dropped the ball on stocking the bathroom. It was not until my second night did the bathroom get stocked correctly.
Positives: It's a very nice property I've stayed there many times and will continue.
Negatives: The room was not supplied with soap, shampoo etc.
