Expected a lot more now that we are in 2011, rooms were totally out of date. The carpet was dirty. Furniture was old and it still had a 27" tube TV. Shower leaked onto the floor. Toilet flushed slow. Price was way out of whack for this level. Felt robbed. Oh well, I wonder who really cares.

Excellent location if you are looking to drop your bags and hit the town. It was comfortable and my view was great (of the Eiffel Tower). The tram was very convenient since I was going to the MGM for a show. If you are expecting high class service, this is not for you. If you just need a place to sleep and not too concerned about the esthetics you will find you stay acceptable.

Positives: The location on the Vegas Strip and the tram.

Negatives: The eggs were runny at breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel about eight years ago. It was decent then, for a moderately priced hotel. This visit the hotel was run down,had an unfriendly staff with the exception of the woman who checked us in. She was very friendly and helpful. The Tequila Grill had terrible food.

Positives: Very convenient to catch the light rail to the convention center.

Negatives: No good restaurants.

Pay a little more and stay next next door at Paris.

Positives: The fact that Bally's connected to Paris, which was much better and had outstanding restaurants. Good mid strip location.

Negatives: South wing too old. Rooms need renovating. Restaurants mediocre. Casino shabby.

The hotel was busy and bustling. The location was very, very good. We were happy with the room and other facilities were adequate. The one thing I<BR/>did not<BR/>like was the lack of gym facilities, the timing was restrictive, the location was terrible and apparently we had to pay for it. I would assume that the hotel would want to encourage guests to be health conscious, not put roadblocks on the way!

Positives: The value for money was excellent; location was very convenient; other features were adequate.

Negatives: I was with my kids and felt nervous about the open access (safety and security concerns).

I would stay again. The price was fair, my room was clean. It needs to be updated but it didn't matter to me. I just needed a place to sleep and bathe. It worked.

The absolute worst smell you could imagine the moment you walk out of the elevator. This combined with on the box springs, shortened our two night stay to 30 minutes. Then after close to two hours on the phone<BR/> three different calls, they explained that the hotel would not even refund our second night. I went back to the hotel and spoke directly to the manager. The manager pulled up our account and explained that they had already given the refund back for the second night. So basically, if not for my second visit to the hotel to speak to the manager, terrible business.

We took our older kids and spouses, had 3 rooms in the South Tower. They were not updated, front desk asked at check in if we wanted to upgrade to North Tower. We said no. Our rooms were very big and clean. We didnt care if we didnt have flat screen tv, etc.

Positives: The location was great. Also, Bally's is one of the stops for the Monorail. Joins onto Paris!!.

Negatives: Loved everything!

We stayed here for my daughters club volleyball tourney with the whole team and parents and had a great time and was easy to get in and out of to go to local playing sites. The Hotel was nice and roomy and very clean. Beds were comfortable.

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. The rooms were more than I expected for the price. I also loved the fact the hotel did not charge a surprise resort fee. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

For the price I paid, I will say this is the best. The hotel doesn't charge resort fee and the room is big compare to the other older ones.

We love to stay at Bally's and last time we stayed they helped us out checking in early and our room was nice and the price was definetly nice. This time we couldn't check in early unless we upgraded and they charged alot of additional fees

Overall, the hotel was a good place to stay. The room except for the bathroom, appeared clean. As a single woman traveler, I felt safe in the room, hallways, and casino. The facilities in the south tower, such as shower head and furniture are old.

Positives: The room was large and over looked the strip.

Negatives: When I checked into the room, the bathroom counter had hair on it. I hope that the toilet and tub were cleaned.

Bally's is a first class hotel with great rooms. Quick restaurants were moderate priced for Vages and ample quality food. I would use Bally's again and would recommend it for frugal travelers.

Positives: Price as quoted, no surprises, wonderful room &amp; eats.

Negatives: TV Express check out did not work.

When checking in the staff person took 5:40 pm to 6:25 pm. Very ignorant of rules of hotel. Was promised South Tower room over Internet. The staff said no rooms were available. The north tower room was nasty. No spread or comforter was on the bed. Was told by housekeeping that the comforters are not used any more. Just the top sheet. A curtain way too small was hanging to cover the shower and there was only a hole with a drain in the floor. I have never felted so unclean and miserable in my life.

Negatives: Ignorant staff on the check-in and Nasty and ill-equipped rooms. No Comforters.

Casino atmosphere, lots of walking to get to places. Restaurants surprisingly good.

Positives: Restaurants all had terrific food at normal prices for the type of food.

Negatives: Many rooms did not have coffee pots. We got one, but that could make it a difficult week for me without it.

While staying in Las Vegas for my Valentines weekend trip I stayed at Bally's hotel and I was not satisfied. The hotel was outdated and old the room were terrible the bedspread and curtains were very outdated along with the furniture there was no entertainment center for the television so the television set on an outdated nightstand. I regret staying there due to the lack of quality of the hotel.

Positives: The location of bally's was good, its location is pretty much directly in the middle of the strip and that was very convienient.

Negatives: The hotel was very outdated the furniture in the room was very old, the curtains and bedspread was ugly floral print and the casino smelled really bad.

The room was quite spacious with a large bath and dressing area. The room was well kept by the staff. This is not a luxury hotel but does represent an excellent value.

Positives: Very comfortable accommodations for the price.

Hotel needs to be updated! The hallway had room service trays that were not cleaned up for 4 days! Broken glass in the hallway that was not cleaned up. Overall, not impressed with this hotel and will never stay there again.

This hotel is very dated. It is a depressing place to walk into with the smoky atmosphere and dark, loud casino right in the lobby where you check in. The bedding looked updated, but the rest of the room was old-looking and didn't feel clean. There were hairs on the floor in the bathroom when we arrived. I was glad to save money when I booked the room, but wish I'd paid a little more and stayed somewhere nicer. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Negatives: Smoky, dated, bare bones, not family-friendly at all.

Hotel is well located, facilities are ok, the only problem that I confronted is that in the room the AC was turning on and off every 5 minutes to save energy and it was very difficult to sleep during the night with all that noise every time the units will turn on.

Hotel was beautiful, but housekeeping needs to vacuum under tables & against walls, clean off counters everyday and clean under cabinets in bathroom - found a nose strip and be cleaner with remote control - very funky, lamps stained with beverage of some sort.

It was very cozy. Nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it as it is also in the centre of the strip which makes it very convenient for tourists.

Being on the center of the strip this hotel has a fantastic location! But that is about it. They will charge you $13 a day for internet. Would you decided to go to the hotels fitness center then it will cost you another $22 and they even charge you $3 per day to use the in-room safe! That is quite a bit of money to stay in a 30 years old hotel that have started to show some wear and tear, like the elevator doors to the south tower that were malfunctioning for the duration of our stay. Another huge minus was the closed buffet, as it seemed for good, according to the concierge as we were sent to the Paris buffet. One look at the line of hundreds of people was enough to send us off elsewhere where we could get food the same day. Bottom line even if the hotel has an awesome location and I have stayed there before (when everything was still included). I won't go back.

Positives: Location is awesome.

Negatives: Extra charges for in-room internet and safe. $22 to use the gym!
