The room was very clean, the hotel was quiet, and the bed was comfortable, but the AC system was terrible. It was a window style that was extremely loud. When it wasn't on, the room was stuffy. When it did come on, it was so loud that it would wake us up. It would circulate about every 15 minutes. The complimentary breakfast was the worse I have seen in this type of hotel. Stick with the packaged oatmeal or the cold cereal and you will be OK.
Positives: Very clean and extremely quiet.
Negatives: Complimentary breakfast poor quality ; A/C too noisy; No taste to coffee.

Far from anywhere in town super rude staff and room was dirty. Worst holiday inn ever.

We really enjoyed this hotel.

Rooms are very clean, with nice amenities like refrigerator. Indoor pool and internet available in lobby allows printing of boarding passes. Breakfast buffet included hot food, daily. Wifi in rooms was too slow to be of any use. The location is a little remote from the downtown area, and you definitely need a car if your going to be going downtown. Overall, an excellent experience, and great value. We will stay there again when we're in Carson City.

OK room, wallpaper coming off walls, curtains and windows did not close properly heat did not work well. Not horrible, but a long way from my expectations for Holiday Inn.
Positives: Good Carson City Location, fridge and microwave in room.

For my trip, the hotel was convenient to the location of my appointment for that day.
Positives: The free breakfast buffet was available at 5:30 am, well before the scheduled time.
Negatives: The air conditioner was a bit loud.

I loved the location of the hotel the room was great and morning breakfast was a great way to start our day.

It is clean and well designed. The breakfast is a good selection of food offerings. No newspapers were provided for guests like other hotels we have stayed in (Hampton Inns). No phone books in rooms. Walls were not insulated well and every conversation on each side could clearly be heard. I would not stay at this particular one for that reason. Other HI is not this way as we have stayed at others.
Positives: Location; breakfast selections; clean.
Negatives: Walls were paper thin; could hear everything next door.

Very good value for the price . Very convenient location for travelers to Reno or Lake Tahoe.
Positives: Beds must have been close to new as they were extremely comfortable.

Everything was very clean and new but like I said the staff was knowledgeable. My husband and I witnessed three different occasions where someone messed up a person's reservations and there was no one that could explain why. No manager on duty twice.
Positives: It was very clean, everything looked brand new.
Negatives: The staff was nice but not well organized.
