Red Lodge KOA is a campsite / RV park located in Red Lodge.
The Beartooth Highway starts near this KOA in south-central Montana. Called "the most beautiful drive in America" by Charles Kuralt, it winds for 69 miles past glaciers and alpine lakes in Montana and Wyoming to Yellowstone National Park. Link up with Chief Joseph Scenic Highway and make your way back to Red Lodge. With its 12,000-foot peaks and 70-mile views, this loop is one of the most popular and challenging routes in the U.S. At our KOA, choose a KOA Patio Site, FHU RV Site, W/E RV Site, 1 and 2-room cabins, or numerous tent sites.
Our amenities include a heated pool, new playground, new gem mine (which is open to the public), new jumping pillow, banana bike rentals, and access to Rock Creek. In Red Lodge, renovated 1880s mining buildings house gift shops, galleries, and restaurants. Also enjoy a day in the Beartooths where hiking, fishing, and ATV opportunities abound.
