The campsite was located in a beautiful spot, our campsite was lovely. The price was right, very affordable. Close to the river.
Positives: Close to river. The bus took us upriver where we started our canoe trip, then we canoed down to our campsite.
Negatives: Horrendous bathrooms. No toilet paper, overflowing trash cans, huge dead bugs everywhere, broken toilet seat. Very rude manager, Dan. Canoeing was fun, but the river was so crowded with rowdy, drunk, vulgar people that we couldn't enjoy the scenery or any peaceful spots. I do not recommend this campsite or the Elk River to families.
