Terrible property apparently in the midst of needed overhaul but one would suspect that the end result not materially effect the overall offering afforded by the resort.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Horrible front desk receptionist, smelly rooms and very unsightly surroundings.

Overall, it was enjoyable. The room was cramped and looked depressing, I didn't enjoy staying in the room. The outdoor pools with baby pool and side room for smoking/eating/drinking was very nice, and the movie by the pool was a very nice touch. Liked the mini-golf, but could be spruced up a bit. The property is older, I understand, but as a property manager, a few upgrades would go a long way! Water sport rentals would also have been nice as we didn't have any way to get on the Lake at all and would have loved to have rented something from the hotel to get on the water with.
Positives: The multiple pools and baby pool with movie night at pool and convenient location.
Negatives: The room looked like a Motel 6.

Room was comfy and smelled nice not stuffy. Nicely updated, lake view room, gorgeous sunrise and set. Very nice restaurant setting. Will definitely go back.

Convenient hotel on the lake. Nothing outstanding, but nice location.
Positives: Nice pool and hot tub area with Poolside Bar and Grill.
Negatives: The rooms were very dark and two of the lights did not work. They were also very warm.

Positives: Three outside pools and one inside pools, free miniature golf.
Negatives: Limited equipment in workout room, medium quality of food in buffet.

Very nice and we will stay there again in the future.
Positives: The pool and walk up bar was super.
Negatives: Felt bad for the lady working the walk up bar, she could use some help, it was very busy and she had to run food and make drinks.

The Resort at Port Arrowhead is a terrible place to stay, the rooms were dirty and I did not get my correct choice of the style room that I wanted. The staff was rude and every staff member I came in contact with had at least one stain on their shirt. When I checked in, the lobby/check in area smelled like marijuana and the mini golf course in a joke, they close their indoor pool too early and overall the hotel was not a good use of my money. The only thing that the resort of port arrowhead has going for it is its location.
Positives: The location.
Negatives: The staff, rooms, and generally was an uncomfortable stay.

Great location, nice clean room, great amenities, nice place for family with small children.
Positives: Clean, nice , have all room options.
Negatives: The smoke smell in the rooms.

The term "resort" was very loosely applied to this hotel. It was far from a "resort". The first night, the pool heater and whirlpool didn't work. The next morning there was zero, water pressure. I couldn't even brush my teeth let alone take a shower. It was not worth the money. It wasn't worth 1/2 the money. I go to the Lake 2-3 times a year. It was the worst room and hotel I have ever stayed at in Osage Beach.
Positives: The location was good.
Negatives: The room was small, dark, old and decrypt. The water didn't work.

Negatives: Nothing.

The hotel was nice, but for the price it would have been nice to have had direct access to the water for fishing, boating, and or swimming. we could see the water from our room and other locations at the hotel, but there was no real way to get to the lake close by, especially for fishing or swimming.
Positives: Multiple pools with somewhat late hours.
Negatives: Too pricey to not have direct access to fishing/boating/beach.

I think it is a great family hotel. Kids stay and eat free. If you don't have children and are there for a vacation stay, I would not recommend for adults without children.
Positives: I liked the refrigerator & the microwave.
Negatives: The room is very small. I am used to larger rooms.

We got a package deal to this resort and found it to be nothing but a hassle The staff didn't seemed to be trained very well and no one was sure how to handle any of the coupons we were using as part of our package. The first room we were given had a dirty bathroom and mildew on the walls. We were given another room, but that was the only effort I feel the staff made to make our stay more enjoyable. I also do not think the price we paid was worth the "extras" we got and the service did not make up the difference! I would not go back and my experience here will make me skeptical of other similar deals in the future!
Positives: Nice pool area.
Negatives: Staff was not very well trained.

Well maintained. Kid friendly. 4 small swimming pools to chose from. Great view from the pool area. Had its own miniature golf course and small playground.
Positives: Location, view, choice of swimming pools.
Negatives: Hard to find the ice machines.

Rooms were clean and adequate. Had a full service rester aunt, but did not eat there. Pools looked very nice, but did not use. Had entertainment in the lounge on Saturday night which was good.
Positives: The location and amenities were satisfactory for the price, did not stay long enough to use them.
Negatives: Bartender in the lounge was not very friendly.

The manager, Mark, and his staff go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as possible! The food in the restaurant is always tasty and the staff is very friendly! We always liked it because kids eat and stay free, although our children are now too old for that part! This is a really nice resort and very family oriented! We always feel safe staying there as they also have security at night and we look forward to our annual stay there!!! Thank you for a great 20 yrs. so far!
Positives: We love their spotlessly clean swimming pools and really enjoy our stay there!
Negatives: Sometimes the rooms get too warm at night!
