Staying at Trout Lake State Park in Merideth, Michigan was a terrible camping experience. Many of the campers were extremely loud playing music and there weren't any park rangers driving around to check to see if there were people being extremely loud and obnoxious. Also, during the day, there is a beach not too far from the campsites, and it is open to the public. It is full of high school kids yelling and screaming. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet campground, do not camp here because you will find the opposite. Fishing is not very good either.

Positives: close to water sites. Water pump.

Negatives: Too many loud people, and no enforcment of quietness by the park rangers. Also the beach is extemely loud, many people.
