This hotel is a great place to stay if you need to be right in the middle of town. It's within walking distance of many restaurants and businesses. Plus there are a couple of very nice restaurants right in the hotel itself. I recommend Zazios for some fun, get the chef's table. However, I think they need to get back to basics with the food and not make it so fancy. Good Italian food is pretty basic.

Positives: It is within walking distance of everywhere you want to go within the city.

Negatives: The coffee and they need to rethink the showers in the rooms. New shower heads and install the curved curtain rods to give more room.

I found this hotel to be really over priced. I have stayed at some 3 star hotels that were 100 times nicer. I found it disturbing to have to pay for parking when all others could park for free! The staff was not very friendly at all.

Positives: The parking structure.

Negatives: I don't like that I was charged for parking when it was free to others.

The Radisson is in downtown Kalamazoo. The hotel itself is nice with attached restaurants and multiple shops. The fitness center and pool are very well done. We had the sleep number beds which were comfortable. The room was clean and extremely quiet. The location is good for general purposes, but not for walking around. There's not much else in the surrounding area within walking distance to dine. You must drive a few miles down the road to find the bulk of the stores and restaurants. At least in the summer, the downtown area is very ghost town like on the weekends. We really enjoyed our stay because the hotel is very nice. The staff was extremely friendly.

Positives: The pool and the beds.

Negatives: Being charged for parking even though it was only $2. I always find it strange when hotels charge you to park when you're paying to stay there.

Hotel is great! Although there is a clear difference between the new addition and the old. The older rooms are smaller and not much has been done to remodel. Location may make the price worth it, no worries about driving anywhere and the restaurant in the hotel is awesome.

Positives: I like the location the most, definitely within walking distance to anything.

Negatives: Our room was outdated, small.

The Radisson Kalamazoo is in a terrific location for access to down Kazoo. There were several nice bars located in the hotel. Self parking was a bargain and located across the street with access via an overhead bridge. We'll defiantly stay here next time.

Positives: Great location, very comfortable room and bathroom.

Negatives: Lobby was rather large and cold.

Nice location, great staff, very comfortable beds, TV was pretty old and bulky which considering the room was surprising, the restaurant was fantastic as well.

Positives: They upgraded us to a top floor room with a great view for no charge. The staff was also great.

Negatives: The water softener felt oily on my skin like I had soap residue.

Well maintained facility with attractive public spaces. Beautiful health club with friendly and helpful employees. Right downtown for business but easy to find for weekend visitors. Parking in covered attached garage, convention facilities in the hotel, stores and restaurants on the main floor. A pleasant surprise all around!

Positives: The health club.

Negatives: Rooms were small, walls too thin.

We stayed here for two nights with a small child. The staff was efficient and helpful with a very late-night check in, and the hotel's facilities were in excellent condition with recent renovations quite evident. The in-hotel coffee shop and restaurant had reasonable prices and good service, something not always evident with mid-level chains. We've used several hotels in Kalamazoo and the Radisson is hands-down the best.

Positives: Friendly and quick check in, beautiful facilities, helpful staff.

Negatives: The internet connection in the room did not work, and the staff was unable to fix it.

Too bad the king room we stayed in looked nothing like the Radisson! Very disappointing when I walked in the room. Hotel itself was very nice.

This hotel worked well for our soccer team. The boys enjoyed the pool. As a traveler I was disappointed to see overflowing refuse containers when you drove up. Most staff friendly and courteous. Expected 24 hour room service at a hotel of this caliber. I would stay again though if we went to Kalamazoo for the price I paid.

Positives: The fitness facilities, pool and locker room were outstanding.

Negatives: Wastebasket not empty in our room.

This hotel is perfect for any type of traveler. My young children and I enjoyed the pool, hot tub and health club. The hotel restaurants were very nice to eat at and even offered by children free meals for dinner and breakfast. Parking in the structure across the street was a little inconvenient, but not too bad. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in every way.

Positives: The hotel restaurant offered my children free meals for dinner.

Negatives: You could hear the other guests slamming doors and running down the hallway late at night.

The hotel met my expectations and was impressed with the pool/spa facilities and hotel restaurant choices. I was a little concerned about room cleanliness as I was checked into a room that was not made up and then the second room I was moved to have remaining items from a previous guest. The hotel was very busy with weddings and the foot traffic in the hallway at 2:00 a.m. Was a little frustrating considering I was on a "sleeper" floor. I'd like to try the hotel again to see if this was just a busy weekend.

Positives: Staff was very accommodating.

Negatives: Room cleanliness was questionable.
